Has the Chief Exec of:
BT got a "telecoms qualification"?
Tesco got a "retailing qualification"?
BP got an "oil exploration, development, transportation, refining, wholesaleing, retail networking qualification"?
TSW got a "forum qualification"?
Are you sure it wasn't a steward?
I'll grant you that a paramedic is likely to be knwoledgeable about these things but stewards are generally impeccable sources.
If you could confirm that it was a steward, or at least that the paramedic was told by a steward, I would be able to sleep easily tonight.
Thanks, Ben
99% percent of normal fans will probably not be bothered about this at all.
A few axe grinders on here are.
What interests me the most about this, if true (50/50?), is WHY Crouch has been asked on to the board?
The Bruce Forsyth episode was hilarious.
Hopefully that ****, Alan Duncan, is never on it as a guest again.
It does surprise me how small the pool of people who appear is. Some of them are very good but some are awful. There's some fat "comedian" called Brand I think (not Jo) who has been on it twice and is pathetic.
Alex Armstrong
Armando Ianucci
Jack Dee
Danny Baker
All would be good hosts.
Can't remember the writer but I remember a top-down view of Ol' banjo head!
I remember an "article" on David Hirst's knee injury which explained, with helpful diagram, how his liver was growing down his leg exerting unsustainable pressure on the knee.
I did enjoy the Ugly - shame we don't have fanzines like that available anymore. That and On The March were the good ones.
Assuming Coppell is completely unrealistic it has to be Dowie or Tisdale IMO.
Both have some affection for the club. Both are young and hungry to prove themselves. Both have achieved promotions as a manager. Neither comes with any particular baggage or controversy and neither is likely to bugger-off somewhere else unless they have done a really good job for us.
