Hopefully our new Chinese Sport Laundering owners will be better than SISU.
-
And we didn't deserve to lose against Arsenal, and unlucky against Inter. Still alive in 4 cups. 3 (soon to 4) more than the skates.
-
I heard it's promotion or bust this season. Just like last season, and the season before ....
-
Not if Inter win their last two. But a win at home to the Beer team will do it.
-
In case anyone missed it, here's Alpine's half-time report.
-
If we draw we'll be a point clear in second, with 2 matches left. Very hard to qualify from that position, I agree, but not impossible.
-
After the Austin-Tadic penalty fiasco Puel said that he would have a clear penalty taker established before each match. Clearly now Austin when he plays, but maybe he (Puel) forgot to have a back up when Austin isn't on the pitch.
-
This. Austin was right that time to grab the ball off him. JWP needs to do the same. Ref a disgrace. VVD was clearly fouled before their goal. And they should be down to 10 men.
-
VVD clearly fouled.
-
Fonte rested. Rotation. Makes sense to me.

You won't get drunk, but it'll give you one hell of a beer belly.

I think we need a poll. That way Kat can gauge our opinion and make her decision accordingly.

Now have injuries s our lack of depth starting to show?

This. I'm sure the club are being very professional in this regard, but Leicester seem to have taken it to another level. I hope we are looking into copying them. -

They are lucky again this season too. Or maybe not. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36189778 -
True. Probably because they were scared shitless about losing the ball and having Hazard and co. storming back at them.

Really? Some thought his jokes were good. Cuco the Clown
-
As I said, he could've been tighter on Costa. But I wouldn't call it a howler, because he didn't gift the goal, it was a world class strike.
-
There seems to be a segment who have a preconceived opinion that he's crap, and justify their view by focussing on any mistakes he may make, ignoring all the good stuff. He put in a fantastic cross which Austin headed just over, and defended ok against a great team who are on a roll. He's played a major part of our excellent run of clean sheets and good performances against strong teams. Today we were beaten by a better team, so all that is ignored, and as a result he's the scapegoat who is a joke apparently.
-
This. Go back and read the comments about Martina. My favourite is he's another "Ali Dia".
-
I must've been watching a different match. Please share with us Cuco's jokes, I'm in need of a laugh today. Maybe he could've been tighter for Costa's goal, but it was a world class finish. I thought he, and the whole team, played ok, just were beaten by a very, very good team. Don't forget 2 years ago they walked the league. Last year was an anomaly for them (maybe they had an agreement to swap places with Leicester for one season). This year they look as good as 2 years ago (maybe even better with the addition of Kante). I doubt we'll meet a better team all season. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the league.
-
It's on NBC. Ask them to change one of the TVs to that channel.
-
I said it before, it would be nice to find out what Leicester are doing in this regard. Either they are very lucky, or they are doing something different that we should try to emulate.

Saints 1 Sunderland 0 - Arsenal away in the quarter-final
Dark Munster replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Agreed. Sunderland (Moyes in particular) have been whining about that decision, but Maya didn't stick his foot out. The Sunderland player tripped over Maya's leg. Not a penalty. And I think they were lucky to get that penalty in the first home match of the season. -
Not a bad one though! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqKGuO_BeA4

I would say all sensational screamers are flukes, in the sense a miss by an inch or two would result in either a goalie save, or missing the goal by a fraction. MLT screamers aside of course, but he only scored one first goal for us I hear.
