  1. Come on Eastleigh!
  2. It appears that would be a "yes": http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-boss-blasts-failing-players-1-5764939 Now what was it that Nelson Muntz says ....
  3. Conference playoffs next year?
  4. They should indeed respect the fourth division, and enjoy it while they can, because it may be a generation or two before they reach these dizzy heights again.
  5. Messi will be back. Adios Citeh.
  6. May as well play Osvaldo before he gets suspended.
  7. No he wasn't. Again you're confusing Luggy with Wigley. Luggy had a solid 1.23 points per game record, despite having many players out due to injury (the 3-3 against high flying Newcastle for example, where I think 10 first teamers were out). The rot set in when Lowe/players(?) forced Luggy out, to be replaced by a clown (followed by a c**t).
  8. As long as you're not swatted by a brown envelope.
  9. And they get ..... Barcelona.
  10. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/barker-pompey-players-lacking-confidence-1-5750647
  11. OK, that's enough now, stop hogging the microphone and pass me back my wig.
  12. Just like this exciting journey....
  13. ... would ensure that Citeh topped their Champions league group ahead of Bayern: http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/9071358/pellegrini-sorry-for-confusion You would've thought at least one of the coach, his staff, or players would have known what they needed to top the group. It's not like they went to play Bayern for any other reason: qualification was already assured. Leading 3-2, they all thought 2 more goals were needed, so Pellegrini didn't bother making an attacking substitution. So now they are saying that they are looking forward to possibility of playing Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Dortmund.
  14. That's not the only thing he misunderstands. The away goals rule, for example. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/article/165/9071358/pellegrini-sorry-for-confusion
  15. That reminds me ....
  16. Indeed. He has the money, but he's lacking one key ingredient.
  17. 18 points away. From safety. Should be easy, as long as we buy/loan an experienced goalkeeper in January.
  18. Thanks for the link. Charlie Nicholas = Top bloke!
  19. Not sure I agree with the last paragraph, but I think you're spot on with the rest (especially about him not coming off his line to collect or clear).
  20. Agreed. Up until now, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and he may become a good goalie one day, but at the moment he's not. He seems rooted to the line, hoping shots will come directly at him. Also, their goal was well hit and wasn't easy to save, but it passed close to him. I reckon Artur, and even Kelvin, may have had a good chance of saving it. Gazzaniga
  21. Not even to complain about letting in 6?
  22. I didn't like them on 14 April, 1984.
  23. 110_Persaint, Glasgow, Barry, Alpine and Bearsy meet up for a pint.
  24. Anyone who starts a match build up thread, which then gets locked a few hours later.
