Nice strawman argument you have come up with there, making up numbers that no one claimed. If we hadn't played Russball crap for half the match we would've had more chances, and probably scored. It's quite a simple concept to understand.

How many good chances did they piss down the toilet by playing crab, propaganda, Russball shite for half the match? It's much easier to beat a crap team if you play for 90 minutes as opposed to only 45.

Martin and his apologists claim we should be happy because we had enough chances to win 4-1. That's all well and good if they were spread out evenly throughout the match. But they ignore the 30-40 minutes of absolute dross in the middle, where almost half the match was wasted with propaganda Russball shite football. Keep up the quality of the first 20 or so minutes throughout the match, and still draw 1-1 due to good goalkeeping, yes even bad misses, is forgivable. But wasting half the match with crap football (against an appallingly bad side), and say that's ok because we outplayed them for the other half, isn't good enough. Martin especially (and Rasmus F*cking Ankersen if he was there) deserve all the boos they got.

Mediocracy is his ceiling. And what's so infuriating this could be seen a mile away before hiring him, and he is wasting one of the best squads in the Championship. That was mainly due the manager deciding to go into those matches with a terrible line up with no significant midfield.

I wouldn't say that, it failed to do its job (miserably). But I get your main point, VAR with idiots in control was no worse than having no VAR in that disallowed goal. I think the moral of the story is, VAR run competently is better than no VAR, and VAR with idiots in control is no worse than no VAR.

He has his shite "philosophy" firmly nailed to his mast, and I fear he's going to live or die for it (spoiler alert: die). And who's going to stop him? Ankersen is beyond clueless, wanting to prove himself a genius by hiring managers who are failures and breaking things that aren't broken, and Wilcox appears to be little more than his puppet.

Good question. It shows the squad isn’t the problem. After Jones awful start we got that brilliant win over City with a completely change of style. But it quickly returned to his hopeless crap afterwards.
