Got to target in less than 20 overs. Will Vince play in the final?
-
We have needed someone like that since Pelle left. I doubt SR are going to find him in the next few days.
-
The VAR ref should’ve disallowed it.
-
They stuck with the young players for the semi final last year and it didn’t work so that’s probably why they aren’t doing it this time.

"Never surrender!' screams the orange oaf, immediately after he surrenders to the county jail for his mug shot. BTW, if my brother sends me the turd's mug shot mug as Christmas present, I'll have to make use of it the same way as I did with the other "hilarious" gift he sent me a few years ago.

And be prepared to be underwhelmed by Adams replacement as well. Get rid of our 2 main goal threats and replace them with mediocrity. All for less than 2 Tall Paul fees.
-
I’m not holding my breath on that.
-
Scored by Adams with an assist by Tella.
-
They got us in this financial mess from their monumental cock ups last season. Fuck them.
-
Lock him up!!!!
-
He’s under contract. He can’t just walk out for a better pay day. Next year he can.
-
Yes. That's his job as Director of Breaking Things that aren't Broken.
-
Any idea how many overs they have to get the runs in, in order to overtake Leics NRR? Calculators needed I think.
-
Um, yes they are. For strikers, anyway.
-
You mean like when Ralph said last summer there’s definitely a striker coming in?
-
Not if they sell Adams and don’t adequately replace him.
-
After last season's shit show I certainly don't.

We had the appetite to spend £19m on Tall Paul. Appetite is not the problem, it's do we trust the club to be able to find a decent goal scorer replacement? From the last few seasons, the answer is no. Will things improve under Wilcox? The jury is still out. In short, it would be a massive gamble to pocket £12-15m for Adams, and expect to find a decent (affordable) replacement, if we're serious about getting promoted this season.
-
It certainly is not if it's the difference between going up or staying down. A classic case of penny wise and pound foolish.
-
It certainly didn't, and the NRR improved too! Unfortunately Leicestershire also won (they have completed their fixtures). Hants are guaranteed a top 2 finish, and to finish top (and get a bye to the semis) must beat Kent by a big enough margin to overtake Leicestershire's NRR. Eliminating Kent would be a nice by-product.

He is still under contract, so he can't just walk out if Saints want to keep him for one year. Of course he could down tools, etc. But he doesn't appear to be a Van Dick, and more importantly he knows he's free to walk at the end of the season, so there is no pressure for him to push hard for a move now if Saints want to keep him until the end of the season. Also, if he leaves on a free his new club could afford to offer him a better contract and/or a nice signing-on bonus.
-
Is he flying down yet?
-
His replacement will be on a contract too, and could be a Tall Paul II, or worse yet, a Carrillo II. £12m + the small difference we pay him for the year compared to any cheaper replacement is well worth the gamble.
