What has this guy done with Sheff Utd?? Lost every league game with the club that finished third last year

Anyone been watching the stream? Is it terrible conditions, or terrible batting?

Think England haven't treated him that well in this. He's played very little first class cricket, has been known to be erratic, yet they pick him to play against a top international side and ask him to open the bowling - in the power play - after the England batters had been skittled.... He should be debuting against Ireland if they have to fast track him... Not against SA

Not strictly Hampshire related but Vince has had an absolute mare in the Hundred this year. Most innings he hasn't even got into double figures.

That can't be true as he saved against Hirst today, and obviously at least one last week, though I believe there were more from Wrexham that were straight down his throat. Now I've used up all my daily posts on Bazunu....

It's not just high balls in terms of commanding the box, but he claimed everything he could today, and even held onto the ball in one instance after blatantly being pushed to the floor in the first half. He was also alert and well positioned to save Jack Stephens after his bad backpass header in the second half.

Impressive performance again today I thought. No big saves to make but those he did make were with a minimum of fuss and he commanded his box well. I'm really hoping he's turned a corner, albeit still early days

Well that didn't take long! He's in the squad to play Ireland as well. I suspect he won't play against SA but will probably get a game against Ireland

Unfortunately, that's how it reads to me as well. Doesn't sound like he's desperate to get it done, so probably stalling in the hope of a PL club coming in for him

No idea if true, but someone said as long as the club is not owned by a sanctioned entity you can still do business with them.

It's crazy how quickly some people write players off tbh.... I agree he could will end up fast tracked into the England squad, but he's still raw so I'd hope not tests just yet. Maybe T20s. With his pace though England will be all over him Hopefully he stays free of injuries and doesn't get derailed like Turner has in the last few years

Yeah it is worded weirdly... I'm guessing he means his contacts at the club are saying no bid has gone in, but maybe their contact doesn't know all market activity Saints are engaged in?

I guess he's too green ATM but we could have done with him in the middle of the 3 CBs yesterday. Wrexham had great success with balls behind the defence for their attack to run onto, and If Quarshie had been in the middle he could have chased those down much more effectively than Edwards/Stephens were capable of doing. Probably would have prevented that stupid push Edwards made for their penalty

I don't see the value in selling him for less than £50m, unless he is preparing to throw his toys out the pram if he doesn't move, or we desperately need the money. A year of him tearing up the championship will mean he'll have a price tag of at least £40m next year anyway I reckon, with the added bonus that he'll help us get promoted (hopefully). After getting so much for Lavia, I wouldn't be surprised if the amounts being touted are coming from Everton sources, and that the amount needed to buy him now is higher than stated

I think it's most likely that we haven't been able to secure whoever our target was for the AM position, rather than any misdirection on Dragon's part. I guess either that's because the player in question has signed elsewhere, or we haven't been able to agree terms with their current club
