West Ham fans says the source is the chairman, so David Sullivan. One person who would likely be aware of how many clubs are interested
-
Next time try searching in Google, Saintsweb & Bednarek! Little amazed that Jan had interest from Porto (and Ajax apparently), but hope it goes well for him

I think it's most likely that we haven't been able to secure whoever our target was for the AM position, rather than any misdirection on Dragon's part. I guess either that's because the player in question has signed elsewhere, or we haven't been able to agree terms with their current club

Sounds like Hassenhutl was a bit of a bell end at times. Anyone know what the issue with the dinner ladies mentioned in the video is all about?

If Frannie played for Saints today he'd be absolutely slaughtered by the usual suspects on here...

TBF we needed to get Cox out before the end to stand a chance of winning so we needed to bowl our more in form bowlers. Fuller and Howell were atrocious last night.... Some innings by Cox! I don't think he gave us a sniff of a chance the whole innings

Can't believe people are complaining about stopages because a fan has become seriously ill during a game...

Seriously doubt Ramsdale would sign for Sunderland tbh. He'd be on another hiding to nothing and almost certainly have another relegation to deal with. Given James Trafford got into the squad ahead of him last season you'd think he'd be better off performing well in a top championship team rather than a bottom premiership team. Think he'd want a West Ham level team minimum to move

She left months ago. Spacey Kale was back in charge towards the end of last season

First interview with the Echo.

Brilliant news all round. I genuinely think he'll do better there in a slower paced league and with better players, and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up netting us some extra cash with his sell on. Seems a decent guy as well so wish him all the best

Alfie does state in a subsequent tweet Downs is the striker Spors wanted

Armstrong to join the Mighty Ducks, Captain Jack Stephens to get a Peacock subscription to watch the Saturday 3pm kick-offs Peaboat to Saints Am I close?

Alfie House said on Twitter that he knows who it is, and that it's not Ings. Guessing it might be the German kid from Cologne

It's relatively easy to come off well when interviewed by a friendly source, but it is an exciting read. Nice to hear we have budget in place for a striker without needing to sell, and the DOF is working actively on this. I do think Alfie & George do an excellent job with Saints coverage, and hope articles like the above inspire a few more subscriptions for the Daily Echo. Well worth the £2 a month for me

All those who thought Selles would be a decent manager at a higher level will soon find out! Personally think it's a bonkers appointment, but good luck to him (apart from when they play us of course)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4grnrg8dy8o Given we're going backwards I doubt we'll profit from this, but good to see there's more opportunity to get up to the top flight from next season. I'm not loving the playoff idea for the bottom club though

Think we're overstating the Dibling homesickness thing. It was three years ago, when he was only 16, and for the money he'd be earning they'd be little difference in moving to Portugal compared to moving to London. After signing he could afford to move his entire family/friendship group with him if he wanted. And if homesickness is still such a big thing in his mind, why hasn't he signed a new contract with us?
-
Really? Arguably would be much better for him than going to a current PL team. A chance to compete for the league title in a top team whilst developing his game in a league of a lower standard. And the bonus of CL, or at least Europa league football. Seems a great option for him to me. Can't see Porto paying what we want for him though so doubt this would happen
-
I think (and hope) he'll do well up there tbh. For me he doesn't get enough credit on here for getting us back up at the first time of asking. He inherited a completely broken team, which had a lot of player turnover and got them all playing together. Yes we didn't set the league on fire, but going up through the playoffs was amazing! We all would have taken that outcome at the start of the season, and lots doubted it was possible. Of course the PL was another story... But overall I wish him well

Phew! Following this thread for the last 24 hours had me thinking it was going to be Jamie Vardy!
