I thought he was one of our better players before he got injured last season, and obvs after that he didn't get a look in. Hopefully today's performance and Juric being manager will give him a shot in the arm and he'll build from here. He's got the natural attributes and can beat his man, just needssome composure with his final decision making

He'll go at the end of the season I think, albeit I think he'd be best served having a years first team football in a (hopefully) decent championship side - worked well for Grealish! Money talks though, so can't see that happening.

I don't disagree with your analysis, but I'm thinking of his perception of his abilities, which may well be that he's good enough to play regularly for a top 6 team. Or maybe go abroad where the standards are a little lower. He certainly would likely get a better financial package on a free, so that may be in his thinking as well

Unless Villa are in for him I don't see KWP accepting a move to Fulham or Brentford level club. When he's available on a free he'd likely get more offers with moves to bigger clubs. Maybe even a CL level team

Potter took a club from the 4th tier of the Swedish leagues all the way to title contenders, won a national cup, then took the same team through several rounds of the Europa League, beating teams from much higher ranked leagues, only losing to Arsenal on aggregate (they won one of their games). Please could you elaborate on how Martin's achievements of taking both MK Dons & Swansea to mid table of their respective leagues is much greater an achievement than what Potter achieved?

His managerial record can be seen here. I know nothing about him, but he's averaged more than a point a games at every club he's managed. If he can do the same here he'd be a major success (albeit we'll still likely be relegated...). Vincent Kompany was one of the top defenders of his generation with a worldwide reputation.... Whilst Martin has a big ego I'm not sure even he is deluded enough to think a big club is going to come calling for him anytime soon

I'd be surprised if he doesn't sign a small extension to his contract. He would get a huge pay rise and still know a big club will pay to get him if he continues as he has been this year

Whilst I think it's time for Martin to go I can't agree with this. The team he inherited was absolutely broken. Morale was at rock bottom after a horrendous PL season, anybody with any quality was sold (Clyne excepted), and basically the team has to be completely remodelled, which Martin did. Could we have done even better last year, absolutely. But before the season started nobody was thinking we had a squad to walk the league, and most of us would have thought promotion via playoffs would be an amazing success. He's been found wanting this season but let's not act like he didn't do a great job last season.

Delap is a good shout. Great player for Derby, largely crap for us, and the decent for Stoke. I'd suggest Skacel. Obviously was brilliant in the SPL, which would have been much closer in standard to the Championship at the time when we signed him. He did very little for us
