Whilst I think it's time for Martin to go I can't agree with this. The team he inherited was absolutely broken. Morale was at rock bottom after a horrendous PL season, anybody with any quality was sold (Clyne excepted), and basically the team has to be completely remodelled, which Martin did. Could we have done even better last year, absolutely. But before the season started nobody was thinking we had a squad to walk the league, and most of us would have thought promotion via playoffs would be an amazing success. He's been found wanting this season but let's not act like he didn't do a great job last season.

Delap is a good shout. Great player for Derby, largely crap for us, and the decent for Stoke. I'd suggest Skacel. Obviously was brilliant in the SPL, which would have been much closer in standard to the Championship at the time when we signed him. He did very little for us

We seem to have regressed over the last couple of years with composure in the final third - maybe the women have been watching the men's team?? We should be a couple up already

I'd like to stick with Martin but given he won't switch from the playing out from the back manta we need to get rid, and need to do so now. Hopefully the club have been lining someone up, though I suspect I'll be disappointed...

Stunned to hear today was the first time Delap has scored twice in one game in senior football! He's in his third season and cost £20m! That said his second goal was great play. If he can do that frequently he'll be worth every penny. Not convinced as yet though

Re the crowd I do think they'd be better served playing at a stadium that meets the fan base that'll show up. I'm sure it's great in some respects playing in a large stadium and (probably) better surfaces, but having a full stadium watching you must be more exciting than having 95% of the seats empty

He missed a lot yes, but was still available for selection for over half the season. He got less than 3 full games of minutes in the first team, and didn't complete 90mins in any game. Certainly not what we would have hoped when we loaned him out

Sheesh mate... Nowhere did I say he had been. He was, however, loaned to a Dutch team and not played. I think most people would have been able to infer that's what I was getting at

Ajax would be great! Although there's a risk he won't get much playing time there like ABK last year

People also seem to forget we lost our first four fixtures last time we were promoted to the PL. Our first home game was against Wigan(!), and we lost 2-0. There's a time to panic, but it ain't yet.
