I fail to accept a manager who expects 100% from all those around him and doesn't give 100% to the club, the players or supporters He's entitled to family life, but even they pushed aside for his media onslaught. From the start I warned what to expect from Koeman and he's lived pretty much up to what I said back last August. For a time I believed I was wrong and delighted how things were progressing, but he's fallen into what I expected from him, if not worse of late. His January signings or lack leave me very worried about what he will do if given money to spend. Is Shane Long worth 12.9million, or Djuricic worth 10 million? Where Bertrand is concerned I am certain Poch's backroom team had him lined up should Shaw leave.

Why has no one had the guts to post that after last weeks defeat at Sunderland, Koeman once again hopped on the plane to Holland to fulfill a full schedule of appearances for the Dutch media. That he didn't return till mid week to prepare for yesterdays game obviously seems to have slipped the attention of those looking for answers to yesterday abysmal performance. Wonder which side of the channel he is today to prepare for the Villa game? Who are the real management team preparing our lads?

I speak of a bonus to the team, not individual players. Yes, it would have made a difference in improving team effort/team spirit, in knowing as a team they would be rewarded.
-
Often clubs publish offers of bonuses to win something or avoid relegation. A public proclamation would have worked wonders. One certainty is that Koeman would have had a huge bonus attached to his contract.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong. I have not seen at anytime the owner, chairman or Les Reed make an offer to the players of a decent bonus if we'd qualified for the Champions League. Football players are no different to anyone. They need financial incentives to go the extra mile.

Boruc wasn't given the choice, and was shunted out of the club by Koeman who didn't like the guy.
-
Our inability to put the ball in the back of our opponents goal is our downfall. Koeman and Co's tactics have ruined our goalscoring ability.
-
Perhaps Koeman played Gazza today as he's offering him in part exchange for a decent Championship keeper and wanted clubs to see him in action. He's only 23 and still has time to maker the grade. Nigel Adkins being an ex goalkeeper himself, must have seen something in him.
-
I thought it was Pochettino who agreed to him leaving, n'est pas? I quoted him as a player we had along with Jack Cork who were far better than Elia or Djuricic
-
Just look how Jason Puncheon is giving United havoc. Compare the likes of Elia and Djuricic and what we had in Jason Puncheon. Now wonder Jack Cork refused to stay t the club. Both he and Puncheon were/are streaks superior to the trash loans Koeman brought in last January Elsewhere I wrote to Luke Shaw the night before he signed for United warning him a move would result in very dark period in his future. Such a shame, despite him reaping in a fortune for being a nobody who's always injured

With cracks appearing for some time now qualifying for Europa League now is like building on sand. We need to build our team our future on strong foundations. The groundwork is in place, but we are trying to run before we can walk. "Rome wasn't built in a day" but many are clinging to that belief. Strong values form the foundation for our expectations, actions, and performance. Have we and Koeman built a strong foundation for our team? Results show we haven't but we have progressed, but not enough to leap into Europe and sacrifice our future. Koeman, alas, has let it known his ambitions for his future. managing Barcelona, Holland etc.) They are NOT long term Saints related ambitions. Today we saw a manager who doesn't bleat to the media his ambitions for his future or what club he wants to manager. He bleeds Leicester City and is fighting for their future, with no mention of a time limit. Koeman sees his Saints future over the next 3 years, not the Liebherr dream of establishing Southampton Football Club in the top 6 and one of the top clubs in England but also in Europe long term. If Koeman. in my eyes, hadn't dug his own Saints grave, by overstating his own future to the media, to the detriment, now, of the teams performances and results. Over the coming close season, we shall have plenty of time to analyse where our season when wrong. The January transfers, lack of bringing in a decent striker. injuries, red cards, and the idiot 3 day trip to Switzerland when a week in the sun, on the beaches and rest and recuperation would have done much more to prepare the squad for the final couple of months. Let us establish a strong footballing foundation, one which will allow the club to move forward with strength overcoming set backs which all clubs face, but which the top clubs are well prepared Let us build on ROCK, not on sand, or feeble, non existent foundations

Nigel Pearson has all the characteristics that Koeman lacks. He is one day going to be the best football manager this country has produced. Seeing him after the whistle brought floods of tears to my eyes, the man, the pride and fighting spirit and the humanity and belief. Koeman is a coward and stubborn and arrogant persisting with the same pathetic selections when we have young guns ready and willing to give their last drop for the team. One or two bad games and it's right he keeps faith in a player, but 5, 10 even 15 useless contributions and still picked is sheer insanity. The longer Koeman persists with Pelle, Elia and Diuretic, the greater the apathy and quality of the rest of the team will deteriorate. Gallagher, Seagar and others deserve a chance. The squad realise if Pelle can match after match do nothing why bother. We aren't interested in Europa League, no matter the public utterances. That is not what what angers me, it's the way we've gone about it. The players who've been playing are those that Koeman sees as that of next season. I salute Toby for his contribution towards scoring when others just did a full circle and passed the ball sideways or backwards. Gazza took time, which cost us 2 goals, to come to grips with his first first team game all season, but it was poor defending that was to blame . We just aren't at any game during the start to a game. Leicester deserve their Premier League place, their fans were the best I've seen all season. Happy clappers!!! Nigel Pearson, the big one we had, and let get away. He has everything that Koeman still lacks in football management. He drove his players by example and being there encouraging them on the touchline. Koeman just sits laid back, along with his brother like a tailors dummy. At very least he could show some enthusiasm like he did when he first arrived. A bitter end to a dream season that went horribly sour.
-
Because Pelle has a clause in his contract guaranteeing he plays 90 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
It's obvious no one wants to pass to Pelle because he can't do anything with the ball and just wastes it. He should have been taken off and given a run in the Under 21's to give him the shock treatment he's needed for months.
-
I felt the moment the Champions League place began to slip from our grasp, avoiding the Europa place was on the cars, either by Koeman for his team selections or by players dreaming of a decent vacation, or moving on. Not grumbling about it but just the way we're going about it. We should have slung out better youngsters in earlier to give therm the experience.

Cheers for the information. Where the normal ads can be annoying they don't effect the stream quality in the same way today's ones with hundreds of lines streaming across the screen in the background.. Hoping the powers in charge of ads get it sorted for future matches.
-
F*cking touchline ads effecting the quality of the stream. Should ban the fookers Wasn't it Rupert Lowe or The Witch who suggested the clappers to improve the atmosphere at St Mary's. Nigel must have got the idea from his time at Saints.
-
Ignore what Koeman and Pochettino say in public. It seems we have two managers and their teams going hell for leather to avoid a Europa League place.
-
Well seems it does work like that and the Swindon pair are still playing in the playoffs but nice to see Lloyd training with the squad. Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC 29 minutes ago @lloyd_isgrove back in training with #SaintsFC today following his successful loan spell at @swfc.
-
He is/was a psychology student and obviously these identities are part of his experimental play with characters and people reactions.

Princess Lottie Lizzie Di or better still Princess CED!!
-
Surely our loan players will be back and could be considered for the squad. Just depends whether they'll be used thru this week in training where they might show some positives.

Very odd neither Lighthouse or the member who answered his thread haven't added anything to the thread. Meethinks some shifty doing. Whoever answered Lighthouse's post was the last to post before the database crashed. Why doesn't he identify himself.

Few come any better in the game. A lovely man with a quick wit. An assist and couple of Terry Paine sightings in this video

I was online Sunday afternoon when Lighthouse posted a new thread on the video of Prowsey's sending off but no video. One of the regulars replied, One couldn't read the reply and that's when the Database crashed. Trying to remember who posted the reply.
