Doesn't he live in Broughton? I'm sure one of my customers mentioned he lived there.

"If Radcliffe can do it, so can I."

Oh. Fair enough, I'm not actually watching it (as you can tell.)

The scousers are probably shellshocked by the prices in Basel. We stayed there last year, my visa card is still shivering.

I lived up there or thereabouts for six years. Whatever protests they put up, the man u fanbase is predominantly outside manchester, and judging by the accents I heard from the "fans" pouring off the London trains on match day, mainly southern. I saw a lot of it because we used to deal with a few big shops in mancland and saturday was always the busy day.

Van Gaal - "a lot of Saint players were offered to us"
scotty replied to Plumstead_Saint's topic in The Saints
Hope is a wonderful thing. -
Years ago, I collected someone in the same trade as myself to price a job on a sunday morning. He asked me to drop him at eastleigh conservative club as he'd left his car there overnight, and as he drove away I saw a police car immediately pull him over. He lost his licence, though to be fair he really was a very heavy drinker.

Eastleigh would be brilliant. Incidentally, this is the first time the words "eastleigh" and "brilliant" have ever been used in the same sentence. FACT.

Funniest stuff on here in ages. Sticky it.

Because citeh can afford to spend on a couple of players what we can afford on our entire first team. Then buy a second first team that would cost as much as our first team.

Cheers. That made an interesting google search, I wasn't aware of that one.

I wondered this as well, who was this emirapist?

Very unlucky indeed to limp away from the emirates without a point. Seven shades of sh*t kicked out of the team, I can't help thinking anyone playing us will see that as a game plan from now on knowing how thinly the squad is getting stretched, wouldn't normally have arsenal down as a dirty side but they did their best to look like one tonight. The only criticism I'd level at Big Ron was subbing Long off. 11 players on the pitch would probably have meant a point for us, when Toby hobbled off it was only ever going to end one way. Still gutted by the result.
-
With the benefit of hindsight, this wouldn't have been a bad idea. At least citeh wouldn't have known much about Reed or Isgrove. They had our main squad comprehensively nailed tactically.

If its any help, he means Emirates for M rats.

Yep. I mentioned to someone after the mangala red, what would you give for lambert on this free kick, and sure enough it got paddled gently into the wall. And our corners were hopeless as well, got to wonder what would have happened with a fit jwp on for morgan.

To be fair, the quoted article does have that headline. But art, being somewhat devious, left out the word "sale".

In addition to hi viz jackets for every passenger, and accessible in the drivers compartment (not the boot,) you're also supposed to carry an alcohol test kit in the car in france nowadays. That said, as long as you drive sensibly the french coppers very rarely stop uk cars in my experience. I suppose france and belgium are similar.

I'm just worried that Pelle would think of comparing himself to that waxed mincer in the first place. Perhaps that isn't his only beard.

I've had this idea for ages, and this seems the appropriate thread; when the dippers come to St Marys, a song for lallana to the tune of his old one..... They're robbing your house, they're robbing your hooouuuse Adam Lallana, they're robbing your house

Could have been worse. If he'd moved to liverpool with the others, this would be happening to him every away game.

That's going to be interesting. The next few games are against sides who are expecting to beat us, so we won't be up against the leicester/villa brick wall. Personally, I wouldn't put money on how we'll fare in those, but got a great feeling. Bring them on.

Got to agree with this. I watched the whole game on a (for once) excellent stream, and thought we looked quality against a side with a park the bus game plan. Ok, we lacked a bit of our usual shape, but still always looked by far the better side. Pity not to get the 3 points, but I was pleased with the way we pushed for the equaliser, a defeat would have been something of a travesty.
