It is hard to not get angry at stuff like this. At every turn the PL have helped the club time after time. They have no morals at all. They were just shown to be insolvent, told to produce a financial statement of affairs. But 2 days after that they have signed a player..... What ****es me off is the whole one rule for everyone else and one rule for Pompey. Grant won't get touchline ban until after the game, they manage to get a player in and get a work permit in a day etc etc Where as outside the PL you do that you are ****ed, you will be hammered. PL have no interest in fairness, they are protecting the image of the league, it is no longer even about the sport. Disgraceful. I hope we maul those ****ers tommorow i really do.

Basically for the PL to do that would mean all of the teams would have to agree to it right as would mean a change of the rules? I think the PL will have said something like they will put it to the vote but know it will be shot down. Only the teams owed money by them will agree to it. The teams fighting it down the bottom i.e 40% will say no. Also i think Portsmouth asking for it in the 1st place pretty much prooves they have nobody lined up. They ask for it a day after the court case, if they had a guy coming in or the current owner was going to put his money in they would not need to do that right? As each day goes by i think fans in general are becoming more and more angry at the way this has been dealt with and the way they seem to be given chance after chance. They have lost the "lets feel sorry for them" tag. Like today they have signed a defender. How can they pay him if they are insolvent? It stinks.

Seeing as their bum chums Square now own Eidos could be. Halo Reach beta starts on may 3rd Dead Rising 2: CASE ZERO exclusive to 360. I did watch that game, and i thought it was one of the most dire games i had seen this season. Man City played awful and did not look interested. They made Pompey look better then they were. And for them playing as bad as they were the only chance they had was when they hit cities bar after one of their defenders deflected a shot that was going well wide onto it. If they play like they did in that game and we play like we did midweek i think we will beat them.

Yeah when you think about it this will probably be the most emotionally charged game we played each other, at least as long as i can remember. One going out of business. One was kicked down so bad and was a laughing stock, taunted at every turn by the fa cup winners etc.. I would love it, ****ing love it if we mauled them. It is going to be like The Warriors for their lot, trying to get home etc if they kick off

If you want an idea you should go watch the Sunderland game and the Fulham game. They are a poor poor premiership team. Won 1 of their last 8 games and scored only 5 while conceeding 16. Their style if you can call it that is basically long ball and hope Utaka or Dindane create something. They have won only 1 game away all season. Dindane is a good player so he is their strength. He fecks up alot but he doesn't really have anyone creating for him. So a bit of a scrappy player. In some ways a bit like Waigo. Their weakness in my opinion is their midfield and full backs. If you can get at them you can create a lot of chances such has been shown. Away they are dreadful, ****ter then ****. Scored 5 goals all season away and conceeded 24. If they bring that form into our house they could get mauled. Obviously they play at a higher level then us but we should not fear them. Regardless of being a rival to us if someone offered us any of the remaining prem league teams to play in the round i would of still picked them. Grant should be in the stands for the game too. Yeah in theory it will be the first time it has been shown from boot up to playing. I am curious to know what they are going to do with it or what game they will show. There was a leaked video a few months back of someone playing a first person shooter (Half Life 2) with it. If it can really do that then wow. If not then could be just a gimmick i.e eye toy etc. In the past they have used the event to announce big games such as Halo etc.. I would not be surprised to see Gears 3 or something similar announced. Maybe even a blu ray drive

A lot of you wont give a **** but today is Microsofts X10 Event in San Francisco. Has not been one since 2006 and seems like they got some news of their own to share. (Nintendo have just announced they will be having their own event too at the end of the month). Basically it is an event where they show off some games coming out and technology. We already know a bit about it from varios press releases such as Natal will be shown. Fable 3 will be shown, although aparently Peter Molyneux says we will be ****ed off by his announcement, so that should be interesting. Bungie will be there to show off the new Halo Reach game and various other stuff. Rumour around the campfire is a few games will be announced too. Which makes you wonder why they brought the show back. Because E3 is 6 months away. So either they have too much secret stuff going on and need to clear a bit of it which is likely. Or they want to announce something that will be coming before then, who knows. Major Nelson (famous blogger) has said "..expect some cool news to come out of it" At the venue for our X10 event. Have to remember they are a prem team and we are a third division team. They have to be clear favourites to win and most neutrals will be expecting them to beat us. That in my opinion is what we want. Saints have always done better as the under dog, the team written off. If we can tap into that famous spirit of days gone by we could pull off an upset. Portsmouth have some decent players but from their games i have seen and reading what their fans say they don't looklike a team playing together. They played against 8 outfield players midweek and struggled to break them down, only scoring by route 1 in the 95th minute. That appears to be their style. Hoof it up the pitch and hope either Dindane or Utaka get onto it. Sadly of late we seem to be doing the same, void of ideas and looking to our front man for the inspiration. But i think we have gears to go up. I have seen our team play very well in games and you know if it connects they have the potential to destroy teams. League wise we have started to fall away a little, but as a cup team we have only lost 1 game in something like 14 games and that was to a PL team, of which we didn't deserve to lose. If we play like we did in that game we could win it. I have a feeling it will be a very frantic affair and having Howard Webb as the ref might be a good thing as he is in my opinion probably Englands best ref currently. He has experience of the big games so hopefully he will get the passion in the game and not ruin it by making a bad call which could spoil it. My gut feeling is a 2-1 win with Lambert scoring an injury time winner and becoming a god on the south coast.

Chinari won't put any of his own money in because if he was going to he would of done it yesterday and saved Portsmouth from todays fiasco. Now because of that they have basically a admin team in house looking at the finances with a fine comb. All those nasty little secrets they didn't want to come out will have to come out. Like how much everyone is being paid. They will have to show that. All the agent fees, all the player salaries and bonus'. All the people they have loans with. And then they will have to show the income and where it has come from. This piece of paper will be submitted next friday and the judge will have 2 days to make a decision on it. So whatever Storieteller or Chinny chin chin say is irellivent. Reading the times piece they quote their finance officer saying they had 2 offers on the table. This implies they had been offered, not going to be. I suspect that will turn out to be ******** too. Now hopefully we stuff them on saturday and they then get dealt with the following week. Fair play to them for not giving up, but they have done so with no honour at all and everything they have said has seemed to be just made up. They give off the impression they can blag this too like everything else. Sounds like they have nowhere else to hide now. Time to let actions speak for themselves.

There is no somehow now. The judge has told them what they must do. They must show they have the financial resources to continue trading in a normal way by next friday. Meaning they have to have been takenover and cleared the debt by then. If they haven't they have no other way to save their bacon. The only reason they were given more time was because they said they were close to being taken over which would clear the debt. The taxman didn't believe it, the judge sounded like they didn't believe it. But gave them 7 days instead of the normal 28 days. That looked like a last chance saloon offer. i.e your defence is based on you saying your being taken over, if your not by next week then your probably never going to be.

So basically now we know what is going to happen. They have 9 days to pay Pretty much the judge has called their bluff. If these bids are real as they claim then they have the time to do the takeover. If on fri they have done nothing then they have no defence.

wow and the first bit of bull**** from Portsmouth is exposed. They owe over £11m to the taxman..... Is it me or does it sound like their lawyers are getting killed in there?

The times reported HM Revenue & Customs have asked the High Court to either execute the winding up order today or grant a "very short" adjournment in the case. The wait goes on ...
