  1. ah harsh mate. Normally when you get to the menu screen a continue section is there which has all your saved games on the back of playing cards.
  2. I think i'm now in the same boat really. I want to be there and cheer the boys on but it is hard not to come away from the experience angry. It would be ok if we were actually competative and had destiny in our own hands rather then relying on luck. But realisticly we are not. We might as well just pick a team from around the common in the sunday leagues as they will put more effort into it and show the same amount of skill. I think i will drop the away games for now.
  3. Have to remember he also paid for some players wages and paid for the statue etc.. Crouch was a idiot and i'd rather he was not in charge but the flak he got and Mcmennemy was just idiotic. They care about the club and in the aftermath of the damage Lowe and Wilde done was nothing they could do. That board had their plans and were backed by the bank for them, i would just like to know what they were and would things be different or would it have been the same as now. Personally i think it would of been different. I can't see the bank wanting us to go under as they lose a vast amount of money. Stripping us of everything to simply pay the monthly bills has put us now in a relegation fight we probably can't win due to having lost our defensive rock, our total strike force and our man managing manager. We have replaced it with no defence,no attack and a manager who tacticly has no clue. If i was a bank manager would i think my investment will be paid back with those odds? Not a chance. And as the weeks go by expect to hear the "their was no other option" line used at every chance. Last year it was "we lost our three best players" this year it is "we had no choice". Which is obviously just excuses.
  4. but it should auto save everytime you do something i.e leave a shop, move zone etc..? Unless you turned that off? Which is harsh if you did!
  5. Will be there with my new camera hopefully capturing something exciting. If not then hopefully get some pics of any protests! I got a bad feeling though this one could be really a 10k or less attendence...
  6. "Most of those we sold are home grown players coming through the academy which i set up and were fortunate to have them in the first place" My favourite from pre-season = "Cynics keep telling me your win nothing with kids, but these are not kids. Many of them are aged 20 and coming into their prime!" Think that sums up Lowe to a tee. "Our aim is for promotion this season" "We will give the fans free flowing attacking football that will be exciting and fast, the easiest route out of our problems is to see St Mary's full"
  7. Right... The argument which clearly went over your head is that there was a very vocal group of fans who wanted Pearson and the old board out in just 13 games. They wanted Lowe to return and said Jan would do better. Some bought into the lies they were told and actually believed we were a team capable of xyz. So the statement that lacks "coherence and logic" is that by the logic of those views means they must be cosistant with them and have the same view now. My view as was others was give it time. Your OPINION is you felt Pearson did poor. However in the last 5 games he had we went to 3 of the top teams all chasing promotion and got something. We lost only 1 of those games and that was a sucker goal in a match we dominated. If any of those results were different i.e we lost one we would of been down. Those are the pressure games of the league. The games right now mean nothing, if we lose on tues there is always next weekend, then the weekend after that. Pearson didnt have that luxuary. So your OPINION is that Pearson did poor, fair enough, however your opinion is in the very very small minority. There was a poll run on wanting Pearson to stay or not in the close season and 85% wanted him to stay. So you saying "Jan loses his 20 next matches 0-10,that can`t and won`t change the view of those saying Pearson did an fairly poor job here" is a view supported by their OPINION. One that is not supported by FACT. So the logic is if they said Pearson was crap after 13 games then that must make JP even crapper right? And they should be being just as vocal about how poor he is and Lowe just as they were with Pearson and Crouch right? So thus meaning your view means nothing and holds no credit at all. In fact i would say it is quite sad really.
  8. Sorry i disagree. If anything their actions seem amaturish on a whole. They came into this with no plan other then to say they were cost cutting. The only people who stand to lose from administration is Lowe and Wilde. But yet they are the ones who set the club onto that course of direction. Getting rid of someone who is proven to score goals when you need goals for the sake of say £384k is bad buisness. We have a club set up now in the way Lowe and Wilde wanted it to be. The team is different from last years and we have a near whole new back staff etc.. all these people have contracts just as the ones who have been replaced had. When the figures are released we will see just how "intelligent" they have been. It will also be interesting to see if Jan paid for his compensation or if we did. Right now we are heading to division 1. There is nothing i have seen in the 13 games to make me think the kids could spark into life and start scoring goals and winning games. The games we won we had massive luck with. This whole ideal that we are playing good football is just a myth. If football was passing around the half way line we would be top of this league. But it isn't, it is defending and scoring. We can do neither. The decisons that lead us to that was made by Lowe and Wilde. They are to blame for it.
  9. 4 points from picking pretty much his own side, having a whole pre-season, having no pressure games etc.. etc.. Imagine if he was given the task of having to get a result at WBA away then beat Sheff Utd or your down. I just can't see he would of got anything. Don't be fooled by the point we got midweek as we created nothing. Just like this game and the Watford game. Coventry will be his 1st pressure game because if we put in a performance like today or like the Watford game it will get messy.
  10. Agree and i will do the same. I will take my camera and try and get some pictures if anything happens! The thing that ****es me off is we have people like Nick Illingsworth and others saying "support the team!". What the **** have we been doing all this time if not supporting the team?? I can't imagine to many came down to Swansea paying the fuel and ticket just to sit there and hope we lose...We have a great traveling support and when they say that i find it insulting.
  11. Not quite as simple as that mate. People on here were bemoaning the path the club was on last season when Crouch took over. They were very vocal about wanting Crouch out during Pearsons reign. They were saying Pearson was poor and that now Lowe and JP were in charge things would be fine. So the point is those people should by their own logic now be saying that Lowe must go and JP must go seeing as they are doing far worse. That is what you would expect would you not? But nope those people are not saying that, they are saying "give it time" or "we have no money" etc.. etc.. looking for any excuse to make their opinion seem justified. That is hypocrisy. So it is hard to let it go because we have swapped average for awful and were being told by those people to accept it or your not a real supporter...
  12. Yeah but Pearson had it far harder. Came in with the ship sinking fast. Lost our best players and had an injury crisis. Could bring nobody in except loan players. He stopped our defence leeking the goals and made us hard to beat. Meaning Pearson is a better man manager then JP. We keep hearing how great these kids are but they are playing in foreign positions and playing with negative tactics. That is down to JP. So yes they both have been given different hands to play with but i would say Pearson had it worse. If he was given a summer like JP to bring in players on frees i think he would come up with better players then say Wotten.
  13. Nah it is sorted by the courts so they give it to the person best likely to help the club. They dont want the buisness (which it is) to go back into admin. So in football terms they give it to someone who will likely foot the costs. Bates has actually got a lot of cash and is dipping into his own pocket. Lowe has no money and would never dip into his own pocket. So if we did go into admin and went up to auction you would get lots of people interested in buying and they would be more rich then Lowe. That is one of the key factors i think. Lowe will gain nothing from admin and will lose everything.
  14. If he really did say we played 3 up front then im thinking he might have been toking on some home grown or something.
  15. Indeed however this was not the only way forward. The previous regime had been guranteed backing by the bank for their plan. Their plan was to appoint Pearson full time and sell off Rasiak and Saga. They were seeking to sell the club. Cost cutting was happening. The errors of Lowe and Jan this year would of been used by the hypocrites to attack Crouch and Pearson bigtime. This whole "this was the only way" is total ********.
  16. About a week
  17. Slightly different to our situation, they have loads of cash we have none. They have the club up for sale and are looking for buyers, we are not. Protesting will start to happen if things continue this way. Supporting the club does not mean sit on your ass, pay the enterance fee and let what is happening happen. That is not supporting the club that is supporting the regime. People are ****ed off because they care about the club and what is going on hurts. It is natural to complain about it. The biggest misconception is people who sprout off the whole "there was no other way" which is the biggest load of ******** ever said.

    Hypocrites

Jan = Played 13 . W3. D3. L7 = 12 points Pearson = Played 13. W3. D7. L3 = 16 points Even if your one of those who think Pearson should be contributed with the Plymouth loss even though he took over only hours earlier then he still did better then Jan. So what do those Hypocrites who said they didnt want Pearson here as he was rubbish after just 13 games now think about Jan? What do those hypocrites who wanted Crouch and Mcmenemy out because we were in a relegation battle now think? Surely they should be saying Jan and Lowe out right? Or are they still using that whole "give it time" line?
  19. Walked out after 3rd goal for the fist time in my life. Safely now out of the rain back at my mates flat getting the **** taken out of me by his Swansea flatmates. Fun times! This was the worst peformance i have seen a Saints team play. We were given a masterclass by Swansea. They showed us how to play 4-5-1 and ate us for breakfast. The tactics were all wrong, the player positions were all wrong etc.. etc.. we had no attack at all and never looked like scoring a goal. I can only recall one shot and that was from BWP in the first half. The goal they scored was from awful marking again. The only player who i felt was actually doing ok was BWP even though he was on the wrong side of the midfield. Seccond half we had an ok start and looked a little more up for it as players were moved to their natural places. That lasted about 5 mins then Swansea started to play again. Their seccond goal was unlucky on Kelvin as it had an awkward bounce and flew off his chest, none of the other 10 players in the box went for it and that is why they scored. That is how our side is, seccond to everything but i have to be honest Davis could of done better also. At this point you would expect us to change to a more positive attacking formation and revert away from 4-5-1 but nope he took of BWP possibly the only player who might of done something and stayed at 4-5-1. Jan cost us more points. The club is a shambles and the players are dreadful. The people thinking things will get better really are deluded. The team is playing awful and we are now finding out what happens when you stop getting penalties, own goals etc..
  20. Am at my mates house (if you can call university flat a house that is...) before the game and have had time to think. Im changing my 4-0 to a 0-0 as the pressure will be on them to score and seeing as we mass defend ala Bolton style then we might get something. So im mixed between either a 0-0 or a drubbing, lets hope its the 0-0!
  21. To be fair though he has a near identical if not better history of managing then Burley which we know you rate. i.e he got a team to a playoffs and failed. Then moved to another club and got them promoted to the Prem league (although when Dowie did it he actually had no money at all). Then got them relegated from the prem league. Then moved onto another club (Charlton) and spent all their money and failed (sound familiar?). Then moved onto Coventry where he actually did pretty damn good considering he had no cash or the things Coleman now has from the takeover. He actually won 40% of his games there. Then he fell out with the chairman (sound familiar?) and moved to QPR. Now if you look at his record at QPR your see he has actually won 8 of his 15 games which is a win rate of 53%. He has only lost 2 games which is 1 point from 4th. I think we can assume the QPR billionaires have someone else lined up to takeover. So by that logic must mean you do not rate Burley as the two careers are very similar. Me personally i dont rate either of them but i would rather have Dowie in charge then JP that is for sure. Dowie has proven in the past to get out of this league with a poor squad and no cash, where as JP is unknown (other then the fact he has lost 50% of his games).
  22. I remember a few weeks ago someone told me there were scouts from a few lower level prem teams looking at a few of our players namely Lallana and Davis. I think since Adam got called up to the U21's more and more people will be looking at him. As we all know Lowe has built his complete chairmanship around flogging off someone most years to balance the books. Selling Davies and putting out on loan the number of players we have makes me think we are nowhere near the amount Lowe probably promised the bank to get their support. So i would not be suprised to see Euell and Skacel go simply because they have not been involved. But it would also not surprise me to see him sell Lallana and Davis then claim he had no choice. I think if we lose Davis that will be that. So yes i can see more leaving which would explain why we have a squad full of reserve loan players in.
  23. yeah it is quality, thus far my game of the year. So many funny bits in it like if you do lots of crimes and stuff you get given the nickname "Nobhead". So everyone calls you it as you walk by. Classic.
  24. Man im so jealous! I wont be getting it until the 6th Nov I have heard a lot of good things about it but that is Cliffy B for you, he is like the american version of Kojima when it comes to being a perfectionist.

    Stern gone!

I cant help but think maybe this is more about us sticking to the formation jan has chosen then anything. The last game showed that by bringing in some experience and mixing it up we can play a different way. The fans called for John and Skacel and that is what happened, but i wonder if by getting rid of John is like Jan saying "look we are playing this way and now John has gone we have no other option but to stick with it". Obviously that is one giant assumption but i can see a bit of logic to that. Howeverif that is true then i think i better start reading up on Southend!
