Sportsnet590 interview with Ralph Krueger

Joe Kinnear is unemployed at the moment -
Agree 100%

Norwich are awful so I am fully expecting us to tear them a new one. Other than Redmond I cannot see them posing a threat whatsoever. Clyne and Shaw more than capable of dealing with him so unless we have an absolute stinker I think a 3-0 win is on the cards. Wanyama, Lambert and Jrod to score.
-
Like Ben Reeves simply not good enough at this level. I thought he was only given 1 year contract last year to prove himself. Perhaps Les Reed quote was slip of the tongue wheres in actual fact he will be binned?
-
Perhaps KL wanted to completely remove all traces of Cortese. I seem to recall Cortese and Markus were the directors of that company.
-
Jrod misses a lot of chances but at least he has the mobility to cause defenders a problem. Lambert has aged significantly this season. Pace of the PL has caught up with him.

I like the look of this.

Did we ever have a fox and shaw poll?

When we played them at SMS earlier this season we absolutely battered them in the 1st half. Second half less so because they changed to two upfront which gave our CB's less time on the ball. Wanyama had less time on the ball as well and he eventually got subbed cus he was having a mare (official reason was back injury). They play Long and Jelavic upfront so it will be more like the 2nd half at SMS. Having said that they will come at us more so hopefully we can exploit the space. I think they will cause us problems by playing two upfront but if we can get stranglehold in midfield then we can limit the threat of Long and Jelavic. Be some tired legs after saturday but with limited options on the bench I will only look to bring in Wanyama and Chambers if required.

Significant changes since Cortese left

The summer is when KL's intentions will be really known for sure. Players say Poch is world class and clearly love playing for him. If he pens a new contract then you can bet your bottom dollar nearly all the top players will stay put (I think Shaw is nailed on for a summer move to chelsea either way) . If Poch doesnt sign a new contract then I would be concerned. -

Gallagher like for like cover for lambert but we currently don't have like for like cover for jrod and lallana. Guly and jwp not going to have much impact if truth be told. -

Osvaldo deal taking a long time to conclude. Perhaps waiting on saints to have a deal done there end? Wishful thinking I guess. -

Poch seems quite sure one in one out before deadline. Pacey striker would be perfect compliment to our attacking style. You can see lamberts lack of mobility is hampering him unfortunately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
IMO this is rubbish. Cork is very calm and assured with the ball. Doesnt offer much going forward but keeps us ticking. Whereas Wanyama is not assured on the ball at all. Protects the back four wonderfully well but Cork the superior footballer from a technical standpoint.

this is standard procedure for midweek games. may tell written press something juicy but either way cannot be published until 11pm. dont think we will announce anything like a signing or to do with osvaldo until after game tomorrow to avoid distractions -
Crossing a side not sure what JWP really brings to the team to be honest. Yes he is a tidy player but so is Cork, we need more craft and guile in the middle of the park. If he offered more threat from open play then he would be a shoe in because his set pieces are awesome.

It was hand clapping not praying.

I never bought into that injury/illness bo11ocks from over the xmas period. Something since the newcastle game had happened.
-
Sure THEVMAN will let us know more in due course. Totally screws up Poch's team plans for Arsenal game I think.
-
Given we play Arsenal on Tuesday and they have extra recovery time than us I would be inclined to mix it up. Yeovil wont be anywhere near as good as Burnley so we can probably get away with the calamitous Jos and Fox. Clyney needs a run out but I would rather him play against Arsenal to be honest. Boruc Chambers Yoshida Jos Fox Wanyama JWP Davis Guly Lambert Osvldo Jrod and Lallana ready to come on if things are going t1ts up. These two are so important to us that I dont see the point is risking them from the start against a poor championship team. Even with our friends Jos, Fox and Guly playing we should still have enough about us to win. If it was stronger opposition or Arsenal game was the following weekend then I would be all for playing them. No disrespect to Yeovil meant but good opportunity to save key players for much harder game 3 days later.

was meant to upload photo of them having a foot spa lol. Its on twitter.
-
They look pretty relaxed and happy, could be a good sign.
-
Lambert looks to have lost his spark. Maybe he is one of the players that has personal problems which Poch alluded to. Just doesn't seem like he is enjoying his football the past few weeks.

Alex Goring Crook @alex_crook 34s Colleague @joe_batchelor has spoken to Cortese's personal PR man who says he has '100 per cent not resigned.' #saintsfc
