Don't know why people questioning releasing reeves. Clearly not good enough, and if he had anything about him then he would have made break through by now. I actually have doubts whether he will make it in league 2. One of those that fall by the wayside. At least he has a PL appearance on his CV.

never saw the potential in reeves for this level or even the championship. Far too lightweight to make an impression. Writing was on the wall for all of them

I wouldnt say we create that many clear cut chances. too many games this season especially at home we have struggled to get behind a defensive line because we lacked the guile to pick out those passes plus we didnt have a striker with pace to get away from defenders. strong powerful striker with decent pace has to be a priority along with CB and winger both with pace.

Just cant see us announcing new signings with out having them photographed with new shirt on. So either new kit will be revealed very soon or transfers will be end of next month and into early July.

Will saints reveal new kit before announcing any new signings as they typically have new players posing with or wearing the current shirt? International transfers cannot officially be completed until 1st July but clubs can announce beforehand although not sure they go as far as having a contracted player photographed. I see Monaco announced an agreement with Porto on Rodriguez and Moutinho but players not photographed or quoted. Last season we revealed new kit on 29th June so be interesting to see what comes first new kit or new players.

No evidence to suggest we are looking at the domestic market. funny enough we havent really been linked with domestic players since adkins reign. pretty clear adkins and the "transfer committee" had different agendas and visions which may have contributed to his dismissal. happy to have foreign players come in as long as we have home grown players as well coming through. We are fortunate enough to have a thriving academy set up that allows us to do this.

Dont get the hate towards the kit mock ups. People need to get over the stripes argument as they are clearly not going to return whilst NC is in charge. Putting that aside the mock ups look really smart and if we end up with something like these then I will be happy with them.

I reckon his close friend and neighbour Guly kicked off when he found out Morgan was looking at this property and subsequently threatened to hand in a transfer request unless Morgan pulled out of the deal. Based on the fact Gaston thinks Guly is the best player at the club Morgan decided in the interest of the club to please Mr Do Prado.

if we get in a pacey/powerful striker, quick centre half and a winger who can create as well as score then we can be the surprise team next season. also need decent back ups in full back positions and maybe a box to box midfielder. good summer transfer window 6th/7th (this will be cortesi's target I think so have to assume significant funds available) fair summer transfer window 11th/12th poor summer transfer window 15th/16th

Not actually sure if qualification for the Europa league appeals to the club. Given it puts a huge strain on squad resources and a lot of sunday fixtures i think Cortesi wants CL or nothing. CL has the money, exposure and player pulling power to match cortesi's ambition. Maybe the rumoured spending spree is to accelerate cortesi's long term ambitions?

The over reliance on Rickie is worrying, we have hopefully got away with it this season due to his excellent fitness record. However the guy is getting no younger therefore I expect him to start picking up those niggling injuries next season and beyond. We are crying out for pace and power upfront like a Lakaku or Benteke type player. Our forwards rarely get behind oppo defenses which makes our play very predictable at times especially at st marys when oppo have a well drilled defensive line and let us come at them.

Squad consists mainly of average players who are picked on reputation and club bias alone. Would Wellbeck, Cleverley, Milner, Jagelka, Smalling and Lescott get in any of the true (Not FIFA rankings) top 10/15 national teams? Very unlikely.
