Good signing, very hard worker and very quick but knows how to cross the ball and has a knack for finding the net. Several clubs just under the Dutch top-3 (FC Utrecht & AZ) were supposed to be interested in him so I would consider this quite a coup. Voetbal International in the Netherlands report the fee being just over €1 million. I just wonder if he was signed as a winger or an attacker since he played in a 4-3-3 system at de Graafschap.

Mathias Ranégie from BK Häcken in Sweden. He's scoring goals for fun at the moment in the Allsvenskan and because he's had his breakthrough at a later age he might be tempted to come over to a Championship side. He's a very big (1m96/91kl.) player but has decent pace. He's also played for Sweden twice during their winter tour (played without players not playing in Sweden or Norway) scoring one goal. I don't know how much he'll cost but I can't imagine it being much more then 1 million pounds and probably lower.

No, that wouldn't be them. Anyway, Gefle won again and more shockingly Dahlberg twice (3rd goal in 2 games) after going 2 seasons without a goal! Halmstads losing again by the way at home to AIK. They really need to get their act together.

I know a two of those 12... They travel all over the country following Gefle. Two weeks ago they went to watch Kalmar - Gefle, they got back around 2 midnight and they had to play with our local amateur team the next day at 11. Last year they went to Åtvitaberg away, not quite as long a drive as Kalmar or Helsingborg but after such a long drive you get to watch a footballmatch at this: If I remember correctly the weather wasn't the best either...

Same here, used to be rather good at German but since I've started speaking Swedish I cannot come up with a single German sentence. Swedish words just keep popping up in my head. As for Norwegian and Danish, I can read and understand both quite well but cannot speak either but in my experience I can just reply in Swedish to both Norwegians and Danes and they'll understand it fine.

Just don't let them know you speak English and if they do just ask them to speal Swedish. I've lived in Sweden about 2,5 years now and I was fluent after about 1,5 years (it helps that my wife is Swedish). Its really not that hard a language to learn even though I have an advantage being Dutch, the languages are somewhat related.

Hey! Don't forget the relegation playoffs? Gefle won the first match away at Sundsvall 0-1 so they're in pole-position to secure a spot in the Allsvenskan for a 7th succesive season. I just bought my tickets for tomorrow so lets just hope Gävle will have Allsvensk football next season as well.
