  1. No way. Don't think we'll get another point this season, got 2 tough away games at Spurs and Sunderland and then a tough home game against Stoke. I still expect us to be relegated, I knew the great form we've produced in the last 6 weeks or so couldn't be sustained and the downward spiral would begin, the loss to WBA is just the beginning of the downward spiral towards relegation in my opinion.
  2. Nope, I'm 23. I'm guessing you're about 45 years old. Am I right??
  3. Just back from the game. We were absolutely appalling today, West Brom could've been 3/4-0 up just in the 1st half alone if it wasn't for some great saves from Boruc. Didn't see the Ramirez red card so can't comment, others saying it was a definite red. Was sat close to the fox sending off and to me it looked like a yellow at most, just a 50/50 challenge and both plays just slid along next to each other in tandem, that's what I saw anyway. Thought the whole team was poor today, particularly Rodriguez, Hooiveld, Lallana, Lambert, Ramirez and Fox. Thought the only players that had a decent-ish game were Clyne, Davis and Schneiderlin. Thought Lukaku was unplayable today, best player I think I've ever seen live. The atmosphere inside the stadium was absolutely Kieron today, up there with the notoriously bad QPR/Sunderland/Wigan atmospheres earlier on in the season. Thought we'd lose today, and I was proven correct. Think this'll be the start of our slide towards eventual relegation. Might put a bet on Spurs 12-0 Saints for next week.
  4. If we stay up i'd say we'd need another decent LB and RB to challenge Shaw and Clyne. 1 or 2 pacey wingers and another 1/2 CBs to challenge/replace Hooiveld, Yoshida and Fonte
  5. Sorry, I don't mean to annoy or berate anyone or sound like a broken record. I'm just still going to be on edge until/if we are mathematically safe is all, if/when we pass that threshold I'll be as happy and cheery as the rest of you, until then I'm going to assume there's going to be some calamity that brings us down back towards the relegation zone from now until the end of the season because that's just Saints all over.
  6. Can see us getting dragged back into the mire in the upcoming weeks. Makes me cringe to see everyone saying 'we're safe' until we're mathematically safe I won't be opening the Champagne bottle. I know what Saints are like, and it would be very Saints-like for us to lose our next 3 games and have to beat Stoke on the final day to stay up in my opinion.
  7. Can't see us winning this, Draw at best I reckon, think this will be the start of our drop towards the relegation zone in my opinion. West Brom are a very good side. Think Lukaku will run rings round us if he plays and Long is very good too.
  8. Here's my assessment of the game: For the first 25 minutes we played absolute dog-shi*e in my opinion. Swansea pressed us back and we looked nervous, shakey and vulnerable in defense. I honestly thought Swansea would've taken the lead within this period of play but they didn't luckily. Around the 25/30 minute mark something changed (not very good at recognising a tactics/formation change so can't exactly say what for sure) but it looked to me as if the Swansea players got an order to sit back a bit more or they were too knackered pressing non-stop for that 20 minutes. Nevertheless we got back into the game and had a good amount of possession (albeit without any clear-cut chances) to see out the first half. We started the 2nd half much like we finished the first but without any teeth up-front once again. Around the 60/65 minute mark we took our foot off the pedal a bit and let Swansea back into it, during this 20/25 minute spell they attacked us hard, conceding 3 corners and resulting in Yoshida having to make a last-ditch clearance off the line from Dyer and Boruc having to make a few key saves on Ki and Routledge towards the 80th minute. After the 80th it was all us again and we could've scored through our only real chance of the game when Mayuka got clear in the box and took a shot off, but Vorm saved comfortably. A draw is a great result as Swansea probably should've won it to be brutally honest. A great game of football to watch, with the two teams attacking each other throughout and trying to get a winner, not content with getting just a point.
  9. Got mine last Saturday when I got back from St. Mary's
  10. A competent League 1/Championship keeper, got found out in the PL with Sunderland and got found out in the PL with us though. His placement, ability to command his area and his inability to come and claim balls from dead-ball situations mean he is just not a top-quality keeper. He probably should've won the L1 keeper of the year award as he was probably the best of a bad bunch. But personally, I don't think he should of won Championship Keeper of the year last year (although I will say his performance at Leeds was absolutely superb). He's been well and truly found out this season and should never make another Saints appearance again unless it is to replace our No.1 (Boruc) from the bench like he did against Chelsea.
  11. It really is ludicrous how Americans just turn a blind eye to the thousands of people that get killed with guns every year in their country. As soon as any politician tries to change a gun law or adapt a gun law to make the citizens a bit safer the gun w*nkers come out and go *2nd amendment, 2nd amendment* and claim self-defence when theyve got like 14 assault rifles/shotguns/magnums sitting at home, which they apparently need for protection. Ludicrous country
  12. It sounds harsh, but it does genuinely annoy me when they harangue you at length in the street, or try the hard sell on you over the phone when you already give £30+ to different charities every month. Also I was once just walking down my local high street when this charity hippy woman called me miserable because I completely blanked her, I dont have to give money to you, and I definitely wont even consider the thought of ever giving money to your organisation ever again now youve called me miserable you hippy b*tch Comic Relief Night and Charity adverts annoy me intensely as well, I understand why theyre needed but it just annoys me that over all my (shortish) lifetime they havent changed atall and they try and pull on your heart-strings like a poor Hollywood Rom-Com still, I even heard one with Coldplay the other day and it reminded me of that Extras episode with Chris Martin and I couldnt help but let out a little giggle as I watched it. I also think in todays austerity-Britain we should focus on getting our countrys economy back running smoothly before giving billions away to far-flung destinations for the time being. I will say though that out of all of them I think Cancer Research UK, NSPCC and the RSPCA are the most worthy charities to give to. (F.Y.I. I cant use apostrophes due to my near-defunct keyboard)
  13. Ive corrected your post for you: (F.Y.I. I cant use apostrophes due to defunct keyboard)
  14. Never rated Kelvin to be honest (obviously apart from that game at Leeds last season) think hes been a liability for us for a long long time. Great club servant, glad he stayed with the club when we went into L1 as we couldnt of got anyone better at that level but think his level is Championship at best to be honest. (Apologies for the lack of apostrophes my keyboard has decided to partially die on me earlier this evening)
  15. Fantastic news, weve finally got a decent keeper after all these years!!!
  16. Incredibly optimisitc predictions I feel. Don't think we'll get another point this season unfortunately.
  17. Honestly not fussed who goes down (apart from QPR) Got no particular hatred towards Stoke, Villa etc.
  18. Great results there for us overrall. Chelsea 3-0 Fulham, City 1-0 Wigan, West Ham 2-2 United
  19. Saints v Palace B&Q Championship, Pompey v Havant & Waterlooville in Conference South
  20. Wigan have made a strong start unfortunately, can see them winning.. United coming back into the other game now, but still a bit dodgy defensively. Final scores: West Ham 1-1 United City 0-1 Wigan.
  21. United and Man City wins please!
  22. I would laugh my arse off if it is Adidas next season, and they sold our shirts in their outlet store in P*mpey hahahaha
  23. ta.
