  1. I hold my hands up, I thought Wigan would easily beat Swansea. It was looking that way for the first 45 minutes but Swansea actually decided they wanted to win the game in the 2nd half, and they did. Wigan are woeful, they have a few decent attacking players who can strike a ball well but they are absolutely shocking at the back.
  2. Why is everyone so sure we'll stay up? I'm not saying this just to wine on about us going down (as usual) but as a genuine question. I've heard on this forum, from mates, overhearing conversations on away coaches etc. that people 'never thought we'd go down' in 04/05 and that everyone 'thought we'd beat United easily' on the last day of the season. Just wondering why this is? We go on and on about other teams being 'arrogant, deluded' etc. but do we just all collectively rate our squad, players and team TOO highly? I'm guilty of this too as I feel we've got a much better team than pretty much every other team from 10th down in the Prem, so why haven't we been able to convert our quality on paper to quality on grass? The first 6 games perhaps can be described as 'Us finding our feet' and 'having a very tough first 6 games' but after that I don't really understand why we've struggled with the squad we've got? But here we are with 2 games left, 4 points clear of the relegation zone (it'll probably be 1 point clear at this time tomorrow). Is it just 'typical Saints' or do we expect too much of our young squad?
  3. We're all going on a Championship tour!
  4. I'd urge anyone to put a bet on that, it's basically like printing money.
  5. Hilarious all these rumours coming through. None of these w@nkers will want to come to us next season to play in the Championship I'm afraid.
  6. Can't see him coming to us to play in the Championship I'm afraid.
  7. Hoping we can recall him in the Summer when we go down.
  8. Nailed on Wigan victory I'm afraid.
  9. I got Swansea City's Ashley Richards
  10. The Spurs support was non-existant today, much like Goodison Park earlier on in the season they only started singing (a bit) once they scored. Most PL away days feel more 'premium' and more about the money than the football, whereas games in the Championship/L1 you knew people were there just to watch their team play and enjoy the day. Looking forward to visiting Bolton next year in the Championship as I've never been to the Reebok before.
  11. 3-0 Sunderland. No chance.
  12. We're already relegated. There's no point going to Sunderland or Stoke. I can't afford to renew my season ticket next season anyway (and I'm moving to Spain) so I don't have to endure us playing the likes of Barnsley and Derby next season.
  13. No one believed me when I said we were going down. Now some people are suddenly realising we are not the 'Messiah's of Football' that we thought we were and sun does not shine out of Cortese's arse.
  14. We're all going on a Championship Tour!
  15. If we stay up.
  16. I'll never vote UKIP, and I'll never vote Labour.
  17. Been to Germany a couple of times, amazing country. Went to Cologne for a Games Convention 3 years ago, stayed in Düsseldorf and got the train into Cologne for the Convention. Prefered Cologne to Düsseldorf, but both were great cities, especially Cologne by the Rhine. Also stayed in a little Guest-House just outside Freiburg whilst on the way back from Monza in 2011 and had a great time in the Black Forest. Really want to go to a Bundesliga game, Dortmund is only 4 hours from Calais by car which isn't too bad atall, would love to be able to get to a Bundesliga game next season and see if the famous Dortmund atmosphere lives upto its hype.
  18. Alcaraz is out for the rest of the season as well.
  19. Spurs (A) - Lose Sunderland (A) - Lose Stoke (H) - Draw (maybe)
  20. Just my point of view, it's what a public forum such as this one is for.
  21. So the plan is to 'bed' Forren into English life, get to know the players etc. next month and then he'll forge a partnership with Yoshida/David Astori next season and Fonte and Hooiveld will be back-up CBs I assume? Just hope Yoshida/Forren will stay if we go down.
  22. If Shaw's fit we may be capable of getting a draw up at White Hart Lane. If Shaw isn't fit and we have to play Cork/Yoshida at RB with Fonte coming in at CB with Hooiveld then this could be an extremely humiliating defeat that could dent our (relatively decent) goal difference further. Personally, if Shaw is fit I'd play Forren alongside Yoshida at CB, Clyne RB, Shaw LB with Cork and Schneiderlin in DM and a front 3 of Mayuka, Jay Rod and Puncheon. Just think Lallana has been absolute dog-sh!te since he's come back from injury and needs dropping to give him a kick up his arse. I doubt MoPo will make any of these chances though, if Shaw isn't fit I'd expect this line up: Boruc Yoshida/Cork - Fonte - Hooiveld - Clyne Schneiderlin - Davis Puncheon - Jay Rod - Lallana Lambert If Shaw is fit, I'd expect this line-up: Boruc Clyne - Yoshida - Hooiveld - Shaw Schneiderlin - Cork Puncheon - Jay Rod - Lallana Lambert However, the line-up I'd like to see is: Boruc Clyne - Yoshida - Forren/Fonte - Shaw Cork - Schneiderlin Puncheon - Jay Rod - Mayuka Lambert
