Being relegated to League 1 with a team which had a few acadamey players and not playing many in League 1 when we were there suggests to me that we are not very likely to have many capable of playing in the PL

Totally agree with you I only watch half a dozen games a year these days but 50 years ago I watched at least 25 a year home and away. Always phone my brother to ge scores when I am away or follow matches on the Internet all my friends and even people I hardly know realise I am a non plastic committed Saints fan who has a ticket for the Hull game
