If Pardew cannot get the squad with Carter plus ANO playing well then I think it will prove he is not up to it and will go. However I think we will do really well and will be at the top of the League

I sometimes think that having a large squad is a bit problematic as the manager is always tinkering with the squad

Although we have not got in as many I was expecting it does not mean that we will not from what Pardew has said he is expecting to get in some new players soon. I dont think we can expect to make an offer and the player will come rushing to St Mary's

I thought it was NC who bought and saw the oppurtunity using ML's money. I agree that ML may not be interested in making money out of SFC but that may not be the case with NC its only a thought which maybe wrong

Yes I realise about German Clubs but I was just suggesting that if he was just looking for a football club for fun why not look for a German or Swiss non top class club to buy but that of course that may not be possible. But my main point is that SFC will be worth more than was paid for it when we reach the Premier League. So that would be the right time to sell if a buyer can be found I agree that apart from the big 4 or 6 in the PL, no-one is making money. The rest are slowly bankrupting themselves maintaining the status quo.but clubs are still worth a lot of money to buy. Buying a Premier League Club for £12m or so and investing a similar amount seems very good business to me. Whether or not this will happen is of course not set in stone but surely it is a possibility for NC to become super wealthy

So why did he not buy a Swiss opr German Club. There is money in Football if and when SFC get to the Premier League it will be worth more than he will have invested

I agree with you but I thought he played the best I had seen him in the last game of the season against Southend I think he was a pretty good player when he was younger

I think the Saints and the Echo are part of the Social Structure of the City and the football club should not be just used as a means for making money

Having a rich single owner would appear to be a good idea but of course he can do what he wants unchecked which obviously is not good.
