I too agree fully with what you are saying as a fan it is virtually impossible to run a club successfully. Hindsight shows us as Chairman when he took over in Jan 2008 he should have sold players to reduce the debt but as a fan that would have been ridiculous as he believed the playoffs were a possibility.

Yes you are right in fact the only player we sold for over £1m was somebody we bought after the EXECs comment which was widely rubbished at the time if I remember

Exactly well put I dont think anyone is knocking him for that but some are questioning whether the things he is doing are in the long run the best for SFC

Did you realy ever think that the Pinnacle bid would ever lead us back to our glory days we discussed the other night when lots of us went to Belgium. I never was impressed with any thing I saw them produce in writing or on TV/Radio without even bothering with whether they had money or not.

I dont think that Pinnacle ever had a realistic plan of getting SFC back to the Premiership. Most thing written and said appeared a little amateurish and involving KK and MLT appeared populist. But as there did not seem to be a viable alternative was accepted by most people . Perhaps we should have been worried when it took such a long time for them to go into exclusivity.

Yes I think you are right I would have thought they would have had plans and bids to account for a No Deduction b 10 point Deduction c 20 or more Deduction or perhaps the plan for c was to walk but that would not be very clever as they would have wasted time and money. I would also have thought that they should have discussed the FL stance before entering exclusivity

Have your thought that if Crouch's alleged involvement with Pinnacle had not taken place another Consortium could have taken us over. It is a possibilty but of course not definite. Pinnacle may have had the money to buy the club but did not do so because of the FL and the attitude of the fans and the Echo

Leon undoubtably a Saints Fan may have shown wrong judgement on a number of occasions but he as spends money he cannot be critised. Whether he has made the awful situation worse only time will tell.

Yes but we need a team unfortunately and we will lose more players than we gain. From looking at BBC and SKY websites other teams are building their sides and all seem to have managers. God knows how long it would take Pinnacle to get in a manager

No just under whelmed unfortunately it has just finally registered with me Div 3 - 10 points no outstanding players and a possible new regime which hopes we will succeed. Might cheer up later but really depressed now

I was not expecting the deal to be signed today but we have still not had any feedback from the FL meeting. But if a respected fan like Duncan is suffering aggro I dont know whether it is worth continuing as I cannot see the club being successful in the future . What have SFC got at the moment which other clubs have not

I thought it was going to be Tuesday anyway meeting today with FL Contract to buy Saints on Tuesday
