You are right, most workers have a defined contribution pension scheme called a 401(K) named after the relevant US Tax Code.

In his younger days Trump created a non de plume, John Barron, who used to make calls to various people/media outlets etc with positive comments on Trump. Unfortunately he couldnt moderate the tone of his voice or the words used and most people knew it was Tump calling, His youngest son is named Barron which provides an additional clue.

I think they would most probably be German from cruise ships operated by Aida Cruise Line who call regularly in Southampton as part of a European rotation. I walked through the centre of Southampton recently trying to visualise the place from a foreign cruise line passenger viewpoint. Unfortunately there was not a lot of positive things that I would be able to recommend to friends.

Interesting to note that Trump used to complain that Obama took occasional time off to play golf. Trump seems to have forgotten that now and seems to fly from Washington to Florida to play golf most weekends, at considerable financial cost to the US tax payer, when the expenses of security, aero fuel etc etc are taken into account. Good old Donnie is en route for another game of golf as we speak.

In defence of Tariffs They raise prices, slow economic growth, cut profits, increase unemployment, worsen inequality, diminish productivity and increase global tensions. Other than that, they are fine.

Latest bit of Trump 'magic' Laura Loomer, that well known conspiracy theorist who actually has the honour of being accused of 'being off the scale' by Marjorie Taylor-Greene, dropped in for a fireside chat with her orange hued hero a couple of days back. She came bearing gifts ie a list of people within the Defence Dept she considered were not toeing the Trump line. As a consequence six National Security Officers were given the heave ho. Heaven help us all.

Anyone know what the 'official' attendance was for the game compared to the actual number 'Marching Onwards' through the turnstiles?

When you look at the two wins this season. One was against Everton, who were in a poor run of form under Dyche. They had a goal very marginally given offside and then hit the bar in the closing stages. Could very well have been a draw. Similar at Ipswich. They were the better side then, fortunately for us, their keeper messed up presenting Tall Paul with the winner. If these fine margins had gone against us, then we would now be on 5 points and no wins.

I think in our first relegation from the old First Division, we were already down when we went to Goodison Park, scene of our normal defeats, and won 3-0!! Perhaps we could do something similar and spoil the last game at Goodison, this season.

Beatts and Henry have pieces about them in todays Sunday Times, if anyone is interested. Beatts about his job as Sports Director at AFC Totton and Henry concerning his Financial background and his comments on Thomas Tuchel.

Watching Sheff Utd v Coventry tonight. Decent game and makes you realise that it could be better to watch games in the Championship than our shit show in the Prem

I must firmly disagree about your claim that KWP has 'given up' He may have occasionally fallen below the 7/10 level he normally plays at but his performances are generally better than most of his team mates. I agree with you re Manning who may not be a Premier level player but I think he has been OK in recent games especially as he arrived on a Free,

Apart from their cameo performances about a month ago, no more appearances for either Stewart or Larios. Doesnt seem to be particularly positive news.

It costs me around £3 per week to fund the BBC. For me that is great value compared to other alternatives, especially as I dont have to put up with commercial adverts.

I reckon you are right that because Biden supported Ukraine and the Kiev Govt wouldnt give up any info on Hunter Bidens Lap Top, Trump has the hump.

I think this comment may have come from the ketamine infused Elon Musk who is very wealthy but worryingly rather odd

They should join forces. Truss will get the votes from the doddery old Tories who slobber over her big tits whilst Andrew Tate will appeal primarily to young disaffected white males who see him as the person they would really like to be with money and a way of treating women like shit.

Agree with your comment but at least China didnt align itself with Russia, North Korea, Belorussiya, and the like including our dear friends in the good old US of A in condemning Ukraine in the United Nations vote recently.

Patrick and Duncan, As a card carrying pessimist of many (many!!!) years standing, I am really heartened by your posts. The state of our club and the issues across the world, plus at my age, I seem to be going to far more funerals than weddings, makes me realise that there are many things to be concerned about for all you youngsters who post on here. In such challenging times, I reflect on our win at Wembley in 1976. I never, ever, expected the team I first supported in Division 3 South would ever get to Wembley, let alone win. When the final whistle went, an older chap in front of me raised his hands aloft and said 'Thank you Lord, you can take me now, thank you for answering my prayer'. I have no idea if he was religious but, to me, the gesture was relevant. We are not a big club and, as such, there will be times of despair, such as we are going through now. I really do hope that Sports Republic have our best interests at heart, have learned from their mistakes, which have been significant, and can guided us to a better future. UP THE SAINTS!!!!!!!!!

I really am amazed that we have sold out our 3,000 allocation for the Liverpool game. Fair play to all those who travel away to watch under underperforming group of soccerball players It seems there are only around 1,000 tickets remaining for the Wolves game. With prices in excess of £40, even a long standing supporter like myself would rather stay at home and miss the disappointment of another home thrashing

Agree. When you look at the number of disparaging and disrespectful comments Vance made about 'America's 'Hitler', (his comparison) makes your comment so perfect.

Despite the fact that Hungary has benefitted from EU membership and suffered a Russian invasion in 1956.
