  1. Yes I know that and you know that but it won't please the conspiracists.
  2. What like John and Skacel, oh no I forgot we're not playing them because they cost too much.
  3. No Wotton isn't starting, not according to the Sheff U site.Lancashire is starting I think I shall be brave and predict a goal from BWP.
  4. Our team sure does look strange. Perhaps it's just the way they show it on the Sheffield site Saints: Davis, Perry, Skacel, Wright-Phillips, Surman, John, Lallana, Gillett, Lancashire, Cork, Mills. Subs: Wotton, Forecast, McGoldrick, James, Paterson.
  5. To save yourself time and effort you all need to get these keyboards with accents on certain letters.Or just put a tréma (don't know what you call that) over the vowel. Like shäg.
  6. It did say he was available for selection and it was up to Jan
  7. Come on Snowballs, you should know by now that where Saints are concerned fleeting periods of smooth are interspersed with exceptionally long periods of rough.
  8. And why did he pick on us then,do we know that? Is he a fan or did we just seem like a 24/7 fun forum to join in with?. Probably one of Tim's Foreign Legion.
  9. F'in H2O??
  10. Rival of yours is he then Roman ? :(
  11. 'Tis true, I'm in it for damage limitation, nothing more nothing less. And for that a L+W in the hand is worth 15 Crouches in the bush. My main beef with the Saints of late is the non-performing,overpaid prima donnas, whilst they're being kicked out, farmed out or invalided out I can take the rough that goes with the smooth. However missed penalties(especially when we can't score) do tend to get on my wick, so none of that eh lads.
  12. Thanks but no thanks.
  13. Didn't come up with Paul Allen either, talked about that in the Echo as well. In fact the execs told him not to talk to the Echo any more For those who have short memories here is a little anonymous bijou from the Ugly http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=8592
  14. Has he got any money?? If so , you know what you have to do Scooby old man, invest in the good guidance of Lord Lowe.
  15. Few clubs could actually afford Shearer but what does that matter. I suppose he must make a few bob out of TV punditting so it's not very likely that he's going to chuck it in to manage Chester or Gillingham is it. He wants to manage Newcastle, he just ain't saying so.
  16. But this is what I said when I was talking about Morgan yesterday. Young players who are fired up and willing to play under most circumstance just can't understand these can't care less attitudes from senior pros, many of them look up to the older guys and it's not good for the youngsters to be around that sort of attitude. Won't even mention money as it's not primordial for most of the young men---yet. Why exactly does he feel hard done by? Is it this thing about asking Hertha for a fee again? Normal 2 years contract, international =fee.
  17. Yes but he doesn't have the Pro Licence needed as yet. Don't know whether they still do "exemptions" on that until the next set of courses in off season.
  18. Fair enough, we're getting somewhere near the truth anyway it would seem. Skacel had a villainous reputation at Hibs, after the honeymoon was over of course,he also left a lot of people very unimpressed by his attitude at Marseille
  19. None better, we let you win last time to avoid mass suicides in Skates fair city.
  20. Sorry, slipped into the wrong language mode there. English isn't my most used language most of the time, some times I slip in the various forms and usages.I am also an abysmal typist.
  21. I don't think DMG will start this time. Call it intuition. I think some of Jan's barbs on Saturday were firmly for his attention. Not as good as he thinks, yep that's about right. Mills, and DMG dropped, perhaps James given a go in midfield .
  22. With all that money I could give Pamela Anderson a miss though, I'm sure I could find a younger, racier model with sufficient dosh. All the other rich bastards seem to.
  23. I've got a feeling he's caved in and is going to play left back. That's what it looks like on the "from" list on the OS. I would say, and I'm probably wrong, that we're going for a Cork Lancashire Perry Skacel back 4 the James Mills experiment is perhaps being reviewed. Anyway thanks to the 454 people over the break even number last saturday perhaps we can pay Rudi's "appearance fee" :smt051:smt051:smt051 Yep 454x£24 is certainly greater than £2.93
  24. The closure of Ford would certainly be a big blow to the local economy. Couldn't they lengthen the runway at Eastleigh if the knocked Ford's down?? With the congestion at the 2 London airports and the good motorway links I think that might be a prime target for any government. Best of luck with the petition
  25. Are we not usually civil??
