  1. Norwich Union is a secured creditor as far as I know, not sure that they come into any equation. They certainly aren't going to write down 70 or 80% of the outstanding debt. There is a vast difference between a mortgage and an unsecured loan.I think Barclay's is,at least in part, secured as well. I'd have to look up the last accounts though.
  2. I think they nicked it from Norwich
  3. I don't know, someone intimated back in the summer that we were pleased to see him leave.
  4. [quote=krissyboy31;93290 If I remember correctly the city council promised Saints a 40,000 capacity stadium in the docks back in 1976. Just another pie in the sky idea!! Must have needed votes to win the election. I don't remember that to be honest.
  5. So in fact it's not 75% of the creditors, its creditors representing 75% of the total debt. Not the same thing at all.
  6. Wee bit of confusion hereabouts; Molami is in the Lille U18 squad, he's not in their first team squad or their CFA (reserve squad) Model footballer might be right, model professional probably is a bit wide of the mark. Not to be confused with morgan at Strasbourg who was in their first team squad. As was Gasmi; Bayesa can't get into the first team at Lille.
  7. Davies is still injured, don't think he's likely to be fit this side of Christmas so that's really a great piece of business. 1.3 million for a crock and the salary saved, honestly it's nothing to complain about.
  8. Great, thanks for the info;
  9. What Wilde in stating truth scandal, how can that be.Perhaps he was also stating the truth about SJ's ultimatum ,what a shocker, that'd upset a few apple carts.
  10. He's had a few first team games and as I keep telling you 19 isn't all that young. Morgan is 18, he hadn't much first team experience and he's doing OK; Don't think Jack Cork had any either, he's not so dusty,Lallana had 2 first team games before this season. This is a good signing because we don't have enough centre backs. Probably play with Lancashire with Perry being consigned to the bench.
  11. They might, this might be sort of a helping hand in advance mightent it? A sort of down payment in advance. Think that Everton are renewing interest in Hunt, Reading will carry out their plan for Surman and we get a helping hand now to promote the deal. I'd go that way if I was running the club:cool::cool::cool:
  12. It's like the old British Caledonian advert for stewardesses. It was by then illegal to discriminate against either sex (don't know if being queer was compulsory at that time) but they put "must be able to wear a mini-skirt " in the job profile anyway. Shock, horror and the discrimination process started illico. Their HRD said, yep but we don't want candidates hiding wooden legs. Think they got away with it.
  13. Main board, Lowe and Wilde, you'll be amongst good company. There are 378 campaigns a day at the moment. It really is getting to be a drag.
  14. Probably be raised to the Legion of Honneur for it in France. It's difficult for me to understand English mentality nowadays. The French would just say the same as François Mitterand when his illegitimate(if such a thing exists in France) daughter Masrine came to light. Asked on the 8 o'clock news about it, he simply said "So what". The scandal lasted about 1 second.
  15. Ah but if there were earthquakes in the UK ,Little England would complain about it,someone would probably get sacked as well.
  16. Having seen the young lady in question on Sky News this morning, well I could believe it was all true.
  17. Depends on how much he insists on his current line of attack really. Personally I would say that he ain't that far off, but then ,hey what do I know.
  18. What do you expect . The Stadium is in a slum area, anything that ain't nailed down will be nicked, whatever isn't nicked will be smashed up.
  19. Find a broker, your bank will have a section dealing with that.

  21. He might then have to expose his real identity, at least to the mods. You can hide behind various nebulous e-mail addresses for a lot of purposes but for some, like paying by paypal you have to come out further into the open. Loads of good posters have chosen not to pay the fiver, whatever suits them. Given that the forum seems to be a principal arm in the latest destabilisation campaign, perhaps it's those who don't pay who are the wise men (and women).

  23. Mr Chorley was trying to get them involved with one of his open discussion groups. Think there were plans and projects but I've no idea of what happened to them. Local MPs will support any cause, it's in their line of business, especially when their parties aren't doing too well in the opinion polls and they might get their come uppance in the next elections.
