  1. 35 will be easily enough. United will have about 55 games next season with moderate cup and CL success and the most of their players will have the Euro as well because it's basically an all European club 2 Argies and Valencia apart. Can't see national team coaches being keen on their players having much more than 32-36 club games next season.
  2. #mufc I'm sure that you'll find it there although the original may have been deleted all the copies haven't.
  3. They are also all over the internet.
  4. I think they've got a pretty busy schedule actually. Don't they set off for Seattle at about 2pm. Medcals, paperwork, kit, suits, stuff from home ...that's a lot to sort out in about 15 hours, time for the photies holding up the shirt (which is the wrong brand for both of them and basically Utd anyway) will come later.
  5. Not really, we'll only see where we are when we drop the hanging chaff and start using the first team squad only. Yesterday we had no composure, probably due to too many average players who'll not make the first team.
  6. Carrick and Schweinsteiger hardly managed 30 games between them last season. Both pretty injury prone nowadays..
  7. Fantastic own goal though....put us on the road to 8.
  8. Didn't fancy us at all then, somewhat surprising actually.
  9. And maybe even again this summer.
  10. It's Stoke, who cares. That Bojan looked to be a decent player before his knee injury though.
  11. Although before year round international cricket we did manage to get our fair share of top class overseas bowlers. Roberts, Marshall, O'Sullivan, Warne.....now those were bowlers and I'm sure I've forgotten a few. Still going back in time a bit now I suppose.
  12. I doubt that anyone is going to come near our valuation. There are players who are as good or nearly as good available for less and we'll not mug clubs off as we did last season. We might get 24'ish but that's about it. If we insist on 27-30 then the player will still be here next season.
  13. Wasn't that last week ?
  14. ouple of newbies in tonight's team then. Crane and Satti ? Good start, 37/1 off 4
  15. Looks like 16.05 BST, 17.05 CEST
  16. We shall see.
  17. I really don't see that it's all that obvious, not sure that anyone is actually going to pay the asking price myself.
  18. As in the "avergage hooker totes her wares on street corners"? Nothing wrong with the word "totes", just adolescent use of it.
  19. Not me, the gap is pretty wide apparently and it's the Mail....
  20. Might not have really seized upon the fact that a palliative throw away reply to a leading question would be treated like something that Moses found on Mount Sinai (or wherever it was) Toby is a Belgian, football probably isn't a religion there. As I've said before, any that take footballer's comments and statements overly seriously are always in line for disappointment. Mind you the dead horse flogging legal action bollorks certainly didn't help.
  21. That would be the same Ajmal whose 5-28 led us to follow on in this current game then; Might be better than any we've signed. Who now seems to have bowled Berg in the first over of the morning.
  22. We might as well because he's worth very little on the transfer market now, when you take into account his recent form and just one year's contract left. Whether we'll actually keep him on is another matter because it's still a 2 million £ salary outlay.
  23. it all comes down to the pîss poor bowling as it has done for a while now. The batsmen don't help but I guess they're just demoralised by facing 300+ just to avoid the follow on every time. We got it right just the once when Edwards had a good day. What was the point of signing a bowler who was not available for a part of the season.
  24. Have not Elia and Djuricic left as well, if Toby counts as an out so should they surely.
  25. Nevertheless do you think that our recruitment might be going a bit better if we still had Mitchell? Perhaps the chappy from Huddersfield is still finding his feet in the deep waters of high level fooball.
