Well I see a fair few concerns about Maya,Targett and Cedric here but honestly what do people expect for their money. Targett is young and comes from the academy, he's 2nd choice LB at best at Saints; Cedric cost about 4 million and so did Maya so really what do you expect from players costing those sort of sums, a top class PL player is 15-18 million at least, between 8 and 14 milion you're in the maybe/maybe not section and any less thaSum dx

Disturbing news about "the best player ever to come out of our academy" Koeman just doesn't seem to rate him.

But you can't make a player stay beyond the end of his contract if he doesn't want to do that. Thought we should have kept him until the end of the season and then seen what we could do to persuade him myself, management thought otherwise and no doubt needed the 2 million for whatever reason I guess..

Personally though I don't think today was a day for Clasie, Barkley had a great game and he's a bloody big unit, Clasie would just have been overun by a player of that power and pace. Wasn't a day for any small DM actually.

But as we had already seen Lukaku was way too fast and powerful for Soares anyway which is why Targett had to come across and foul him on the edge of the box..

Seems to be a fair bit of overeaction this evening, never mind we have some Danish minnows to crush on Thursday and all will be well again.

Well he did actually and got a well deserved yellow card for it....other than that we'll just have to see how he gets on as the season progresses...

But last season it was 10-12 million wannabees, guess there's a difference. Last season we kept the base of our system and spent some real money, this season doesn't seem to be quite the same.

Probably because the only target we have for the position won't be released by his actual club until after the CL qualifiers. I'll not say anything just now, way too early but Dutch mania may not do us a lot of good this season..we shall see.

Can't tackle and when he tries he usually gets sent off, lasted about 8 minutes last week I think, also a bit injury prone and definitely slow, won't be suited to the PL at all..that's why no club has ever tried to sign him to any great extent.

You obviously know very little about Gonalons.....Must be good on FM I suppose. Didn't really notice much difference from certain games last season today, the collective is not quite right that's all. Oh and Everton were good in defence..normal they have better players.

Not the same company though is it, in fact it's completely independant of any commercial links with us. I am sure that there must be clubs who are sponsored by family or associates of the owner. Olympique Marseille must be one, she owns Adidas, they give plenty of money to the OM and yet it's all perfectly above board. Man C and PSG are just isolated examples of constructive accounting by middle east owners.
