Who knows who he might have obtained, each manager has his own type of player to target, in Koeman's case it's dutch league players in the main. If we'd not appointed Koeman we probably wouldn't have signed Pelle,Tadic etc but we would have signed others. Ranieri might have turned Long into a world beater...then again probably not, perhaps he wouldn't have let us waste 12 million on him though.

Did he ? Not when we had Clyne and Chambers alternating there I think. Maya only got 8 PL appearances in the 13/14 season and most of those would have been at CB when Lovren had his several injured spells. Perhaps in the Adkins set up that Poch inherited but then that wasn't very good defensively was it...Poch cast him aside apart from desperate need, Koeman has for some reason reintegrated him as a regular alternative.

Wouldn't we all but he's turned us down once and would again, we're not in his league...simple fact.
