Well getting knocked out of Europe at the second hurdle wouldn't have pleased many managers I'd guess. We were truly awful in Denmark and no matter what the selection was you'd have to think that he'd have expected better of the players..I know I did.
-
Great start again, their middle order seem to be digging in again though.
-
probably because he's played with the bloke at Monaco and didn't rate his chances of pulling off a save overmuch.
-
I only saw him do one thing yesterday...take the ball away from an onrushing Saint who might have had a chance of a decent shot from about 8 yards.
-
Probably looking to see if Barca had texted him with a job offer eh!! You'd have think our last 10 minute push for a draw would have stopped him doing that.
-
I bet we don't.
-
Well whether we've "dropped a clanger" or not depends on our pretentions doesn't it ? We won't be top 8, maybe not even top 10 but after that who knows where we aim to finish.
-
so why doesn't the manager play him there then. He should be our first choice right back for all occasions but it seems that he isn't.
-
We'll probably post a loss actually. The 35 million comes from the sales of Shaw and Lambert...virtually the exact sum in fact which went through before the end of the 2013-14 financial year. After that we sold Lovren, Chambers and Lallana and spent a packet on Tadic,Pelle,Long,Mané etc. We'll see in March.
-
I think we'll have a better idea of our exact state after the Swansea game. Utd are always hard to beat.
-
Don't see what difference it makes, the manager should be able to use all of the players in his squad and not just his own recommended binkies.
-
No he's rubbish dontcha know, Spurs only spend money on rubbish..well known fact amongst the unenlightened.
-
I'm not sure that Maya is left footed..I mean he has a left foot but I don't think he uses it overmuch..well apart from standing on that is.
-
I don't know that Lallana has gone downhill, he's never fit for more than a couple of games on the trot. He always was a bit of a delicate flower and perhaps Liverpool don't know how to handle that.
-
Starting to look none to great, still a wicket or two would change that, think they had the possibility of far too many overs myself, just need to wait for the bad balls to hit.
-
10K seems a great deal of money for a couple of doors, we had ours done last year and I think the 3 doors cost me about 2000 €.
-
And a change in position to boot.
-
We need to put the brakes on, they're scoring much too quickly.
-
perhaps not so much, they seem to be scoring pretty quicky now.
-
wow, now 18 for 2, they'd better make a bit of a go of it or we'll be accused of a fix by the other struggling counties. Say 250 all out...that sounds like they tried...but not too much.
-
If he even plays, LvG seems to have gone off him for some reason or other, unless of course the vicious kick that he took against the Serbs has had some sort of sequel that hampers him in some way.
-
Whyever not, we have nothing to lose really because a draw won't help us a great deal.
-
don't remember too many of those when I was there, mind you they probably passed most of their time smokng behind the roller under the chestnut tree, whereas we sporty science types played football in the Cage.
-
With a bit of luck LvG will underestimate us as he did with PSV and play a gung ho attacking side that Mané and or JRod can exploit on the break. Their defence isn't solid enough to play just one real DM as he did yesterday.
-
Started on time then, need a breakthrough if we are to have a realistic chance of actually winning this one.
