Strangely enough Busquets is just about to extend his contract at Barca up until 2019, apparently he has a buy out clause of ...wait for it...150 million euros. Still not sure that Barca can recruit anyone before January 2016 so it makes sense to not make it easy for any current regular to leave them.

Gignac is currently on 4.2 million €s a year, these things are less secret squirrel in France, so about 70K£ a week or so, we'd need to pay him far more than 50K a week, won't sign for us anyway and we'd not be the losers in that.
