Don't really see why we'd play Reed against Palace, I mean Ronald doesn't seem to be exactly falling over himself to give him game time now does he. We'll play the strongest available side whenever it's available, Cork will figure in that long before Reed, might get a run out at Sheffield though..then again perhaps not. Noticed we've gone from 3 or 4 academy products last season to a big round zero this. Don't know just how on board Ronald is with the academy just now. He plays his strongest side and doesn't seem to give a toss where it comes from.

So in fact the "Wanyama burgled" thread is more apt.
-
Yep those little known tribal dialect words stump you every time.
-
No idea really, just assumed you were speaking of 1 milion ksh, wrongly as it turns out, as you'd taken the time to actually read the Nairobi news, often worth pointing out any new fact that you introduce into a post really...you know for those of us who don't read the Nairobi News on a regular basis.

Don't really know about JWP adding much to the crossing and set pieces really. Villa's back 5 are all pretty big blokes and it looked like we were trying to loft crosses over them, to no avail of course. Pelle was totally mastered by their what 436th ansd 437th choice CBs, would rather have had Senderos myself because Clark,Hutton and Cissokho had good games as did Guzan, the Danish African perhaps not so much but he was a big unit against our smaller men in Long and Mané. Pulling the ball back as Bertrand eventually did for a MF running on was the way to go perhaps. A lot of our goals are coming from the MFs and defenders just now.
-
OK, anyway his 8 million ksh Range Rover has been recovered in London apparently.
-
At a guess kenyan shillings and pounds sterling ??? You've said that 1 million ksh is worth 56K GBP, so I'd like to exchange the million ksh that I have in my wheelbarrow with you. 1 kenyan shilling is in fact worth about 3/4 of 1 p
-
Think we tried that and got a nulle prosequi from Dowd, looked like a penalty in the replays, Tadic perhaps or Mané.
-
Must have ducked into it surely though, how else could it hit him on the back of the head under the helmet. Never turn your back on a bouncer
-
It's what winning 8 out of 11 games does for them I suppose, we can probably afford to lose 6 games and draw another 7 and still have a chance of finishing top 4 (which I'm told is impossible anyway).
-
So if I give you 1 million kenyan shillings will you give me 56K GBP? I million ksh is in fact worth about 7500£
-
Millions of Kenyan nagwes or whatever they use down that way, shillings perhaps ?, A shilling is in fact worth less than 1 pence apparently so 10000£ is worth at least a million ksh.
-
Ah but there it was the same for both teams except that we have about a milllion internationals and they probaby have about 2. Looked to have had a distinct effect on both Mané and Long actually, don't know how much Long played in the 2 Irish games though but Mané played twice. Citeh play tonight in a game they must win, won't be easy and they might get knocks, either to their pride or their physical integrity or both which might be handy. Nasri first I hope, dangerous little crapper..

In fact without Guzan thay'd be in a pretty bad way. Like him as a keeper myself, no doubt he has some "black box" weakness that i've not seen enough of him to notice but he plays pretty well every time that I see him.
-
We did try that a couple of times, not enough may be but no one got on the end of it, nor did it hit anyone. Think sticking out a leg is being coached out of players now at the highest level, except for at Arsenal of course where it would seem to be actively encouraged.
-
But Guzan was by far the better keeper, wonder how much he'd have cost us last summer.
-
If it's of any consolation to irene the french commentators called it criminal goalkeeping that you see in kids matches.
-
Let us then say facts presented in a stringent way, still think you got a lot of grief that you shouldn't have done though. Boruc was a good keeper, bit injury prone but he should have at least got a chance this season.
-
Ah the 64 million dollar question, Boruc had his very own thread a while back, I'm sure all the info is contained within it, we even had someone close to him participating in it,he just wasn't rated by the new management team or Reed or whatever and it was known long before Forster got here. We have hired an ex-England GK coach, Forster is one of his chicks so there was no way Boruc would be number 1, find the thread and read it would be my counsel to you if you really want to know.
-
Nothing is traceable if it's hiding place is dark enough, anyway the tracers are easily enough disabled. Probably already on it's way to south america or the far east. Memphis Raines strikes again eh.
-
Boruc was dropped because Forster was bought as a number 1 keeper, don't think the club ever made any secret of the fact, didn't RK actually say so, provoking months of vitriol from "Irene"?
-
Don't feel the need to feel sorry for stupid dorks who can't watch a game of football without having the prospect of a financial benefit to offset a defeat. Bookies prey on that sort of stupidity. Should be outlawed in the same way as confidence tricksters preying on old folks.

Probably judst needed a game to get the ANC qualifiers last week out of his system, probably quite hot in Africa just now, damp cold Villa Park might not have been easy to adjust. It's one of the drawbacks of regular african national team players. Constant long voyages and the climate change coupled with them. Got to give the bloke some slack really. Look at Yaya, he'd not been so great for a while, probably for exactly the same reasons, the ANC is a pain in the butt, every 2 years like that means they're in perpetual qualifying tournaments for the major nations who have a chance of making the WC final stages as well. -
It was a good result, silly goal of course but the fact that we got a draw after being behind is quite ground breaking for us recently I think. Villa have become a bit of a bogey team for us and you just knew that Agbonlahor would score a breakaway goal. Thought Hutton had a really good game for them, tough nut, should be playing for a better club than Villa and Guzan pulled off the odd good save and commanded his box well.

There is a thing which sometimes affects some African players when they've been down in there homelands a bit, they seem to lose all sense of discipline, I remember a friend who was coaching at Lens at the time telling me that the most of them were useless for the rest of the season after the ANC. African football is different, less disciplined on the whole and players get into the habit of extemporising a bit. Still it was only fdor 2 games this time and I'm sure that Mané will be better against Citeh, Hutton had him in his pocket yesterday, in fact Hutton had a pretty good game.
