  1. Thought he went for the ball at first and got it, then he decided he chop down Barrow with a sort of scissors movement, think that's what got him the card.
  2. Static perhaps but certainly not exactly where he should be exactly when he should be like all the great strikers of the game. Our wide men are putting ball after ball into the box, he's not got onto them at all today.
  3. Is he a work permit jobby ?
  4. JWP has been Ok but he really needs at least one of the 2 midfield enforcers in the side with him. They dictate play, shore up the defence and take those tasks away from all of the other midfielders. In short Vic and Morgan make us tick, we can get through one game without them both especially against a wimpy side like Newcastle but Palace and to some extent Swansea have just shown us that without both of them we are weak and ineffective when it comes to running midfield.
  5. But KBilly did tell us that we can't afford to actually buy a top striker, he's not usually wrong. Also I think RK is on record as saying we're not looking for a striker just now.
  6. Because they'd been having a bit of argy bargy for about 20 minutes beforehand.
  7. We are good enough for the champions league when we have our strongest team out but after that perhaps not. The "board" needed to put their collective hand in their collective pocket on the 1st of January and bring in a top rate striker then we'd not be having days like today.
  8. In fact you're partly right. Pellé does work hard and puts himself about but he doesn't help his team-mates supply him because his positioning is a bit poor.
  9. And some of us remember only too well just how confident we all were that we'd beat Burnley. To me the midfield is weak and it would only take a bit of a Swansea purple patch to overrun it. Palace managed, they went at us and we cracked.
  10. Wouldn't go that far myself but I do wish we didn't have such a depleted squad for tomorrow.
  11. As we did with Taider, it was bound to happen.
  12. Might as well wait on until Nike bring out the self adjusting, self fastening trainers from BTTF2, next month I think it is.
  13. Of course it is, they just get some tame enterprise of theirs to hand you a 200 million stadium naming contract and a couple of 100 million for plastering eat five Joe's burgers a day on your shirt and it's done. Emirates Stadium, Etihad, Qatar Tourist Board, do you think they actually see much return on the funds they give their teams? If KL got one of her uncles or cousins to dob us a few hundred million for just naming SMS the Liebherr Cranes and Handling Equipment SMS we'd be wildly rich and strictly legal with FFP because it's new commercial income.
  14. I expect Mané to start myself, no reason why he shouldn't.
  15. Some of us thought so but RK said he was shîte so evidently that's why he was taken off.
  16. Excellent news, Senegal have managed the nigh on impossible and got themselves knocked out of the ACoN, Mané available for Sunday maybe.
  17. Plus I don't think we have enough number 9s to be loaning out any of them.
  18. Perhaps the black box is like pilots eating carrots to help them see in the dark !!!
  19. Didn't think that the Saints did slates any more, pay up or you don't sign our players.
  20. No, think it only factors wages against TV revenues and then it's in sums of money and percentages of sums of money never a straight income/wages ratio.
  21. Did not Ralphy say that she did not wish to invest a further franc of her own money ?
  22. And our projected match day and TV income doesn't cover all of that ? Selling players to pay salaries all sounds very QPR. Training ground does sound likely though.
  23. Whippersnapper....Viv Anderson was probably England's best right back.
  24. Where is it then ?
  25. Still, sounds more like a QPR signing really. probably already on his way there by now.
