He told the French press at the time of his recall that pochettino was the best manager that he'd ever had (or was it known). Owed his progress to him and also his international call-up. What is more Lloris has just re-signed for 5 years at Spurs so it must be a FFF sanctioned club

Bleak day, only 1 bowling point and a big win for Surrey. We can only hpoe it's a mid-season glitch.
-
so if innit is a bastardisation of is it not! that would be it is not so tisn't!
-
Ah so that's why there are situations advertised on the OS every day, wondered why that was, thought we were expanding!!
-
Situation has certainly gone downhill a bit these last couple of games. Hants made 297 thanks to a stoic last wicket partnership but Gloucs seem to have got off to decent start in their reply. With Surrey heading for another innings win we really need to get something from this game as they'll be on our heels (having played a game more) if we don't.
-
He may not, the FFF wants him to have it though.
-
Nope....don't ever remember seeing him play, mind you who'd watch Lorient if there were any paint drying to watch in preference. Gabonese apparently..work permit jobby then.
-
Bruno Ecuele Manga from Lorient CB...have we done him yet? If not apparently we are interested, so are Lazio and Borussia Muchengladbach.
-
Absolutely, the FFF will be moving their players round the chess board again this summer. Sissoko Monaco,Evra to Juve,Griezmann PSG, Debuchy.. Arsenal,Morgan..any one of 3, Lloris PSG, that leaves Remy and Valbuena to get themselves sorted with CL clubs and they'll have the complete set I think.

Wouldn't have been too good for last season's Southampton, now ? Who knows, things have changed.
-
We can offer him whatever we want but not what he wants.
-
My my there's a surprise. 5 of last season's top player have left or are leaving and we wonder why we can't sign good players. I mean what is the bloke thinking not wanting to play alongside Jos,Gazzaniga and all those starlets from the academy.
-
Arsenal, Naples,Spurs,Dortmund and Saints, will be interesting to see which one he chooses, provided the other 4 are willing to meet the asking price that is.
-
Callum Chambers to play right midfeild this season?
Window Cleaner replied to peacey's topic in The Saints
I would have like to see that last season, said so a few times I believe. If it's going to happen I shall be interested in the outcome. -
Well then it's official, they don't want to get on the wrong side of Matty.
-
Hants look to be in a hurry to score runs this evening, 61 for 3 off about 6 overs, rain expected perhaps with D/L result a possibility?
-
the WC is over for 3/4 of the teams already, just the elite 7 and Costa Rica left, can't see too many of them containing players who'd want to play for us.
-
You'll make a few enemies if you start calling 2-1s second rate. Mind you I got a first so what do I care.
-
Perhaps Pelle needs to go on strike to get the move hurried up eh:rolleyes:
-
I see they've signed Cresswell as well, we obviously weren't interested in him then, must have other targets at LB I suppose.
-
Well no,if he doesn't turn up without valid reason we'll obviously not pay him anything at all. Trouble is that will leave us a good CB short and dimish his value as well. Then you get into the legalities of it all as to how much we could eventually make him pay us for breaching his contract, that would be a mess. There have been precedents like that Argentine from Belgium who just swanned off to Argentina claiming to be suffering from mysterious migraines or something. Ended up getting transferred to Italy for a low fee.
-
but playing all the youngsters would be suicidal because many of them aren't yet ready as we saw last season. I do however tend to think that we will see just some average signings this season for about half of our sale values or less and academy players being pushed into the side. We'll see where that gets us.
-
that was the year before when they were still in the CL I think, last year they got turfed out by Sociedad in a preliminary round so Aulas simply sold Bastos and Lopez to make up the shortfall. Lyon have to sell players to survive every year that they don't hit the later stages of the CL. They also have a new stadium project to fund and their transfer policy is haphazard at best. In Lovren's case he was being played at RB to allow Umtiti to play as CB.
-
Not really (and I know that) It was about Aulas trying to use young players all of the time to make more money on transfers by having them in the public eye so to speak. I've seen what happened at Lyon and is still happening, that's one of the resons why I am particularly concerned by SFC just now.

depends what's written on paper, could be non-qualification clauses in contracts, no-one amongst us knows really. (Hope statement of absolute fact isn't too negative for some today)
