  1. At last it's twigged on them that they get far more niggling and ongoing injuries than their fair share would seem to predict..
  2. Probably just the points lost in home defeats against Villa and Tottenham. Then again you could put those 6 points down to the home draws with West Ham, Stoke and Sunderland...not a very precise science.
  3. See a lot of our lads had new boots again yesterday, Nike do seem to change the colourways a lot this season. Think that the 4th colour system that some of them have had in 7 months.
  4. With a dodgy leg, probably be out if we had any viable alternative.
  5. Well that was a bit standing up in a hammock wasn't it........
  6. Hope he's seen enough of Lallana as well then, far below his usual standard today.
  7. Holding the ball up is vastly overated, gives the opposition time to get back and re-group.
  8. You are probably right, they were just squaddies to the residents of Poole and it's surrounds though. Poole was a great place empoisoned by grockels and squaddies, sorry booties.
  9. I remember the Jolly Miller in Poole when the squaddies from Napier Rd came into town of a Friday night, absolute chaos, there were few Friday nights when the MPs didn't have to come round and sort it out. Think there was a really big barny there once, people might have actually got killed or seriously maimed or something. My neighbour was a Napier Rd marine officer (SBS ??) and he once told me than in theory the Miller was off limits to certain ranks but they went there anyway.
  10. don't get confused by people tacking known events together to make a Tom Clancy novel out of them. Here's the rub on the 2 EX Seals, anyone who knew what they are talking about would know that these 2 blokes were private security guards and not serving seals. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/21/world/africa/dead-guards-on-freighter-are-identified-as-former-navy-seal-members.html?_r=0 However Trident is probably one of these nebulous organisations that can only exist in the US, you can't rule out it being a sub governmental organisation for some operations.
  11. I feel that he needs to stop making awful passes like he did last week. Just destroys everything we attempt, either by making an awful pass or not being where he should be when he should be. Looked over last week's game again yesterday evening, he was rank, absolutely rank.
  12. Only 2 Seals, you know straight away that that's a crock then, Seals operate in teams not in pairs.43 and 44 is pushing the age limit for Seals as well. Ex Seals maybe.
  13. You need to have a look at the deep web,Phil (don't click on anything that looks even remotely dodgy though) All this stuff has been spread about all week plus far more. There are some real nutters down in those dark places but there are also some people who "know stuff". I use Tor but if you ever think of going there you need the best anti everything software that money can buy.
  14. Secret surveillance system ? It's just one of their see all, know all satellites, probably the one that watches over Diego Garcia, looks like it from the little map on the news reports. Don't thnk the yanks like UFOs, they might even have downed it if they didn't like the way it was heading.
  15. Really what ? The OS puts him at 76kg for 1.88m and Morgan at 75kg for 1.81m, data is probably just duff though.
  16. He'll be back, hope we're working on a new avenue for getting shot of him, pretty woeful for Juve yesterday. Seems to be just an EL option for them just now.
  17. Exactly, he's not great defensively as of yet. 20 million would be a goodly sum for him just now because there are better players available for far less and they are the finished article. If you offered me Coentrao or Kurzawa for Shaw as a straight swap I'd be really made up. Weren't Utd supposed (paper talk I guess) supposed to be considering a bid of just 30 million for Shaw and Lallana ?
  18. Wanyama being doubtful again is of concern, he's not really looked "right" since he came back and the chipped bone obviously hasn't healed up perfectly as of yet. I do wonder about Wanyama sometimes, with his apparent bulk you'd expect him to be a bit of a heavyweight but according to the OS he's just a kg heavier than Morgan so I'd be led to suspect that he might have a bit of a fragile bone structure. Still no doubt we'll put out a team capable of beating Norwich, I'd really like to see Chambers go forward a notch with Clyne at RB, don't think it will happen though, expect JWP or Davis to partner Morgan.
  19. the island is british, the US base there is enormous, probably one of the biggest outside the US and Hawaii, a very sensitive place used for all sorts of strange things that " don't happen". In fact there are already a few conspiracy theories about that the plane was actually taken there for some reason or other. I can't be bothered to actually read them, leave that to Pap.
  20. If it was flying west'ish for 5 hours it wouldn't be far from Diego Garcia (or in theory anyway). They'd know of any unidentified aircraft that came within 1000 miles or so of there so yes they might well know exactly where it was if that case scenario should have happened.
  21. don't think you'll be seeing Fer for a fair while actually.
  22. The pitch was poor, we tried to adapt but it threw us a bit. You could see the ball bobble up and put the player into trouble a few times. Think our pass success rate was one of our poorest this season.
  23. probably his Mum and his Gran.
  24. Good win. Was that Plan B though, not sure that I like it very much.
  25. I think we knew that, just citing a recent case of a "near miss". Can't see it being a shoot down myself, area isn't really a conflict zone.
