  1. Gallagher has pace apparenty, trouble is he doesn't know how best to harness it yet.
  2. No it's based on equipment that listens for ultrasonic signals coming from below the sea. Where to listen for them may or may not be based on Inmarsat data, that we don't really know.
  3. Well I think we've moved on to the "ping" data now. As you probably know this has been re-analysed and the search area has been drastically reduced, just one little tidbit for you there, it was the US Navy who told them how to reanalyse it..although that may be classified info, hope they don't lock me up in Russia or something.
  4. Of course, we just cannot go into next season with the squad that we have now. Guly will be leaving, he'll need replacing, Fonte needs replacing because he's gone downhill of late, there is no way that we can expect to do significantly better without at least 4 new quality players.
  5. To be expected really. The plane was in theory out of fuel so none of that to float about, the hydraulic fluids used in that type of aircraft are phosphate esters which don't float and engine oil wouldn't leave a large nappe. Can only have come from a ship.
  6. Seeing as we couldn't get Coutinho because he preferred Liverpool then I'd really doubt that we could have got Suarez, anyway weren't we in League 1 at the time ? Saints are at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to top rate players, you have to admit that and move on. It won't get any better until we have a better status in the game, that's why we need to hang on to Schneiderlin and Lallana if we can because getting replacements of their quality will be difficult for us...don't care about Shaw.
  7. If one was wanting to be unfair to Mannone you'd have to ask how much City paid him to do that wouldn't you. Absolutely Sunday League keeping at that moment.
  8. Yes he does although I'm not sure that he means to be all that disparaging towards Wanyama. Just trying to point out the difference in style and effect between Cork and Wanyama I think. He also questions Victor's stamina( once again as of yet) to play our style for 90 minutes.
  9. He makes this point in the paragraph dealing with Cork and Wanyama. Says Wanyama is static and has little endurance (yet) and that hampers Morgan's possibility of moving around which he likes to do. He's not very complimentary on Wanyama at all, says his game is to be static in front of the defence, win the ball and lay it off with a 4-5 yard pass, when he (Wanyama) tries to anything other than that ie a longer pass or a run, we tend to end up losing the ball.
  10. It says that Wanyama doesn't have the engine to make runs actually. Reading it in French you get the idea that Morgan isn't totally enamoured of playing with Victor, by far prefers Cork.
  11. Indeed the only thing separating Utd from the Top 4 just now is the 3 home defeats they suffered in December/January. They'll probably still finish above Everton and to think that we wre once confident of finishing above them until our failure to score when it counts knocked us back.
  12. I don't have a model, just a pair of eyes.
  13. Does it matter, no-one is going to give us 30 million for Shaw because he's not worth it. There are better players available for less. Moyes is looking at Mangala and Siqueira (Benfica LB) and he can probably get the 2 of them for less than 30 million and pay them less as well..
  14. Only 18 teams in their league though so only 17 home league matches a season, still cheaper per match than ours but I've no idea how much they sting you for CL matches and the like.
  15. Highest priced ST at Bayern costs about 550£
  16. If we had 5000 (proportion of BMs capacity applied to SMS) or so standing places available to increase capacity perhaps we could get the seated ST prices down a bit lower as well. If the Allianz was all seated there wouldn't be tickets at 109£ for the season. Then they're always in Europe so more games and more tickets to sell.
  17. The Ukrainian army is obviously a bunch of joke warriors so the situation should be left well alone. Which it will be. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-27053500
  18. Meaning his contact is on the older side, not the sort of detail you should give out really
  19. Whilst not wishing to denigrate Eastleigh the two are just not comparable really. Probably better to start watching Bournemouth.
  20. Sounds likely enough. Were there a lot of people who left the club soon after Cortese left? I've seen them advertising for a lot of new people recently, didn't realise there were a few departures though.
  21. That wasn't the only condition it would seem "there are many things they have to do and then we'll see" was the actual quote I believe. Not only that though Mallagroth told us that he'd actually spoken to the bloke who'd said he'd be considering other offers this summer. Of course we only have his word for that but the word around here is that his non-selection has hit him hard because he's been overlooked for what are evidently inferior quality players.
  22. He's not even under the press radar, that's why some of them keep touting him for England which I believe has been established to be impossible. He doesn't use a trappy agent that's all but I believe the club have turned down more offers for him than any other player, mainly because he expressed no interest in going to any of them....until about the 27 th of January this year.
  23. When you have groups of 20 or 30 blokes working together on a day to day basis there is always at least some friction. Football is no exception .
  24. We do have debts actually, the much vaunted training centre has been racking them up for years.
  25. Looks like we're really making hard work of getting their last wicket, I hope we're not going to regret not finishing them off once again.
