That's wrong ART, the government are going to tax clubs on salaries over 1 million euros per annum at 75% of the exceeding amount. The players won't have to pay, just the clubs. So a player on say 7 million euros a year (Gourcuff) will cost Lyon 4.5 million extra in tax over and above the already insane social charges. French football will be reduced to kids and Africans who'll play for virtually nothing in a few years time.
