to be honest Lidl and Aldi have a pretty bad reputation in France. Maybe they aren't of the same quality as those in the UK. Most of what they sell here is pretty tacky and of a substandard quality.

Because in limited overs you just need to be able to score more runs than the opposition..we have batsmen who can do that. In the 4 day game you need to be able to bowl them out twice (unless they commit silly declarations) and as we all well know we don't have the bowlers to enable us to do that.

you can 25/1 on Mayuka being our top scorer next season.....probably a better bet.

Lallana has always had trouble with his finishing. Remember slating him for awful misses in our relegation season. If he'd been efficient we might not even have gone down. Blackpool at home was one of the worst accumulations of missed easy chances known in the history of football and then we lost 1 - 0

PL is far different from a couple of friendlies. Chambers has as yet proved nothing. We'll get a better idea next week against Celta.
