  1. don't need him anyway, we've already got 5 CBs plus some young pretenders. Astori no doubt turned us down so we bought Lovren.
  2. He thinks it's just agent bollix http://www.caughtoffside.com/2013/06/03/arsenal-in-talks-with-celtic-as-victor-wanyamas-agent-issues-come-and-get-me-plea-on-behalf-of-his-client/ Low profile agent probably working out of his depth. http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/extratime-s-l-/details/berater_189.html
  3. try for some edible millinery as well
  4. Only 1 striker at Benfica worth that much and it isn't Cardozo. Now Rodrigo is something different.
  5. nah but this bloke is a serial offender. Current status banned from driving, 4WD confiscated and awaiting trial for driving when banned twice. Just can't get it through his bonce that when you've been convicted of offences, your 12 points have become -5 (or something like that) your licence has been taken away you've gotta stop driving. Shows that the bloke just lives for himself and has no respect for anyone. Sort of bloke you need to steer clear of.
  6. takes time, the days of Clough+ Taylor knocking on the door of the player's house of a Sunday morning are long gone.
  7. will be a decent total though, probably 250+, good contributions from nearly all, Vince excepted of course.
  8. he was decent in the Championship what 4 years ago, football has moved on since then. To evaluate Scottish football you only have to look at Higdon, average and then suddenly he scores about 40 goals in a season. Once Rangers were kicked out the SPL became a void.
  9. source ? Bollix bee in the bonnet idea that Hooper is a PL striker to be signed at all costs....he isn't.... if he were West Ham would have signed him by now. Don't forget the "rumour" that was going around a couple of weeks back that Torres was our fall back option
  10. let him proove himself elsewhere, to me he's just a goleador in a micky mouse league, probably a Championship level striker, I have no faith whatsoever in Scottish football.
  11. can we please stop with all this Hooper bollix, he isn't good enough for us.
  12. debt is merely an accounting notion where PL football clubs are concerned. Future revenues can always be mortgaged for whatever you need. West Ham probably like everyone and his dog to think they're skint. Anyway Sané will cost them less than 4 million, peanuts,
  13. West Ham have all the money they need, anyway Sané won't cost very much, mainly because he's nothing special, not the sort of player Saints would engage in a million years. French football is rubbish, all the good young talent is sucked out of it by the time they're 19 or 20, PSG then pay a king's ransom to buy it back.
  14. which is why we bought Lovren I'd guess.
  15. going to West Ham, don't know where they scrape up this crap. Anyway, bloke's got a string of motoring offences behind him and looks like a bit of a knob so definitely someone we can do without on a moral basis at least.
  16. probably, but folks do like to tattle and the price goes up the longer the tattle goes on. Now if you were a Watford fan you'd probably think him worth about 400 million but that you should be able to sign him for 500K.
  17. don't like those white sleeves at all.
  18. does that make our bowling any less crap ?
  19. signed for Olympiakos to play in the CL. shi*t club but when you're in the CL your crapness doesn't matter especially with older players on free transfers.
  20. probably took last years figure, doubled it and divided by 2..
  21. The 'Hooper thing' is just to make Uncle Les think he has some residual importance, won't sign him of course, Hull or Reading for him if he goes anywhere.
  22. Verrati's inadequacy in his role is shown by his disciplinary record, 10 yellows and a red in about 20 games. PSG steamroller everything because they are by far superior to every opponent in the French League, plus they play a strange 4-2-2-2 system which means there's always cover everywhere. When you've spent more than all the others put together I guess it just doesn't matter who plays where.
  23. starts at about 11 BST I think, Mexico-Italy is the first game
  24. And it would suit me down to the ground if we played them again this season. No field work for me this year so I could go.
