whoa there, when Forren is fit we'll have any 2 of Jos,José and Maya on the bench plus Mayuka plus players who might be able to put in a decent 20 minute shift like Lee who'se level we don't really know at all. We have enough players for the 14 remaining fixtures.

Yacouba Sylla ? Nah, he'll find the step up from the French second division far too great to handle in the immediate future. If he was any good he'd be at Lyon or Marseille by now. I go and watch Clermont foot on occasions, they aren't very good and Sylla is certainly no exception. If you wanted to sign anyone from Clermont it would have been Alessandrini last summer.

I don't really see that Forren would be fit for Saturday when he wasn't even judged fit enough for the bench on Wednesday. Afraid we might be stuck with Jos again. Anyway what I'd like to see most of all is some sort of valid contribution from Gaston and maybe even a cameo from Mayuka. A goal apiece would greatly raise my opinion of them, even an assist.

What you have to ask yourself is this. In the 24 matches to date would we have got any less input from Sharp than we have from Mayuka? Would Billy have not been able to stab home just 1 ball floating about the penalty area?

I think the theory was that Mayuka was supposed to be some sort of superstar hotshot, him being ranked 85 th in the world and all that. Turns out he's a total waste of space and Sharp could probably have done far far better and we'd get to keep the 3.1 million £ to boot. Our transfer committee needs disbanding rapidly with the oversight on transfers being left to the manager and the chairman. Beginning to have my doubts about Gaston as well, far too erratic for a 12 million £ spend as we don't seem to have players capable of replacing him when he's crap.

with the players already having been shipped out by QPR they must have covered the wages of the new signings already so that just leaves the transfer amounts which they can probably recover most of anyway. They're putting all the possible chances of staying up on their side.

it's 10 before the second Sunday in April I think so 9 games left not to get 3 cards, bit of a tall order, needs the defence not to be so sloppy. Situation might get better when we hoik Jos out of there and replace him with Forren (or Fonte) Cork and Davis need to up their tackling rate though.
