they are deadly short of players they want to have. Faurlin has been pretty poor this season, did nothing when he came on as a sub yesterday. Game looked too fast for him. -

probably a League 1 reserve player...that's a biggy for them right ? -
QPR are now looking at Bruno Alves apparently and they've signed a S Korean defender as well. Certainly don't need Capoué, he's a bit inconsistent for the 18 million euros TFC want for him.

it's a ruse. Shaw will be in the team.

seems to have gone to Manchester with the others though. Still think we may move him forward a notch tonight.

Nowhere near as good on a constant basis as either of our two principal CMs. Odd good game when things are rosy, you have to watch out for players like that, good game, bad game, mediocre game, bad game, good game sort of thing. Plenty of them about, usually means that they are playing above their level when they have a good game. -
Transfer Deadline Day Who's in Who's out?

As if we'd suddenly organise transfers in the last 24 available hours You just have to face up to it, we don't really need any more players just now, let's see what Mo can do with those that we have at first. Maybe some untapped nuggets in there that Adkins/Crosby/Wilkins couldn't handle properly like Lee, Chaplow, Mayuka or some of the young lads. After tonight we have just 14 games left this season. -
he's only about 10 I think, or it looks like it anyway.

and has he fully recovered from his cruciate ligament injury or are we just providing rehab with our excellent medical and sports science facilities? -

why would a Barcelona reserve player be wishful thinking for us exactly ? -

perhaps one of them is better at CB than anything they have in reserve, I don't know and neither do you I suspect. Harry's the manager he plays who he sees fit. They got a good result so who are we to criticise his schemas and selections. If they'd have got the penalty that Dowd chickened out of they'd probably have won. -

I don't think they have any CB replacements actually, perhaps either Green or Murphy can do a job at CB, without knowing the real situation you just can't say. -

Can't see what difference putting 2 keepers on the bench makes myself. 7 subs you can only use 3 so 4 are there to make up the numbers anyway. -

wouldn't be if they hadn't had an idiot managing them for 15 games or so. Can't even use the lack of experience excuse for him either. -
we started the season with an inadequate team, the style of football has very little to do with our results in those matches. Fox,Davis,Davis,Jos in the starting line up is what did for us. Plus of course some very strange substitutions.

Agreed it was rubbish. Then again I thought Mayuka was rubbish, Zambia were rubbish, Burkina Faso defended well enough because it's all they needed to do and grosso modo the whole competition is rubbish. Poor refs, players playing well below their standard and very little public in the grounds. Once every 4 years should be enough for this "triste spectacle". 3 times in 4 years is just far too often.

Dear Itchenblock 4 real men do not express their interest in young ladies by texting them, they man up and telephone or ask them face to face. If you had called her in the first place you would not have wasted any time. Faint heart never fair lady won is an old expression which can be applied to your situation. Aunty Windows. Aside to the rest of you: See told you i'd done this before. Now throw those PMT,bra-stuffing and boyfriend with a small **** questions at me.

Who we've been linked with for January thread...
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Fellaini is an offensive player (in more sense than one), if you sign someone like him he'd have to be better than Punch, Gaston and Adam. As long as you CMs recover the ball, relay it forward however you've asked them to and protect the defence they're doing their job. There are few players of this type better than Morgan and Jack so you need to be careful what you sign. In fact were I to believe that we were genuinely looking at CMs then I'd think one of ours was on his way out. -
perhaps they were initially talking about something else, a transfer perhaps.
