What you have to ask yourself is this. In the 24 matches to date would we have got any less input from Sharp than we have from Mayuka? Would Billy have not been able to stab home just 1 ball floating about the penalty area?

I think the theory was that Mayuka was supposed to be some sort of superstar hotshot, him being ranked 85 th in the world and all that. Turns out he's a total waste of space and Sharp could probably have done far far better and we'd get to keep the 3.1 million £ to boot. Our transfer committee needs disbanding rapidly with the oversight on transfers being left to the manager and the chairman. Beginning to have my doubts about Gaston as well, far too erratic for a 12 million £ spend as we don't seem to have players capable of replacing him when he's crap.

Other than that if Shaw really isn't 100% it may well be that Fox is at LB and Puncheon will move from right to left because he's not too bad defensively. 3rd solution Davis and Cork at CM and Morgan on the left just to cover up Fox's weaknesses, bit of a waste that though.
