Bentley eh, must have been some handsome bonuses floating around for getting promoted then.
-
my Mrs parks like that. I am not particularly tolerant about our cars getting scratched though so perhaps it's with good reason.
-
If only we could see the boots, think Gaston is the only one who uses those sort of eau de nil coloured ones or the pinky ones.
-
Yep Rickie's nicked Gaston's gloves........
-
evidently you weren't a spot the difference buff in your infancy then. Jos image 20 shorts, the player in 31 is in tracksters and gloves.
-
you couldn't make Denny Hollywood up, cross between Attila the Hun and Minnie the Minx.
-
Fonté back soon then. Perhaps the Uruguayen federation have asked for the 5 day rule to be applied; Then again perhaps he was just off making the tea. Don't think Puncheon figures in any of the pics either, could be wrong there though. Ref picture 31 isn't that Gaston in the background ?
-
Yep, picks the team, washes the kit, makes the tea, sweeps out the stands, answers the phone. A real control freak, does it all himself....apparently
-
80 yards if it was an inch and of course JRod put in the cross.
-
not sure Adkins knew what to do with him is more likely.
-
and why did they do that ? Surely they could see that neither Davis or Gazzaniga were of the required level.

How many points needed for "safety"?

It's not always wins that decide relegation, more defeats. Wigan stayed up fairly easily in the Z010/11 season with only 9 wins but they also only lost 14 times. We're currently only on 11 defeats I think, most of them from the start of the season. So if we can managed to lose only 3 more we might well be able to stay up with only 3 more wins. That would give us something like 8 wins,16 draws and 14 defeats for 40 points. Still wins would be better and less nerve racking. -
Is Vegard Forren close to playing yet
Window Cleaner replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
why? he's been back from holidays for just a couple of weeks. Had a week in Spain and then another at Staplewood but he's had no game time until this evening. Hopefully he's of the type that recover condition quickly but until he gets some games it will be hard to tell. How many pre-season games did the others play 4-5-6 ? -

because he isn't fit. He's played no football since about November. Would just get taken to the cleaners by every EPL hotshot that's been playing every week for months. If he's going to get no game time in Seville we'd just as well said he had an injury and played him in the U21s the other day. -
McDermott and Le Fondre get Manager/player of the month

More time on the pitch probably wouldn't improve his strike rate. Seems to be sent on to exploit tired defences and it works well. -

So it looks as if Norway aren't doing very well defensively, perhaps Vegaard will get a run out in the second half. At least he's done a couple of weeks training. -

Would I be right in thinking that at this moment there are no domestic fixtures in Norway though ? Pre season maybe. -
Cortese and Le Tissier arrange meeting

he's a strange one that Stu, all his hatred started when there wasn't a payment plan for season tickets in 2010. -

Indeed I find it very hard to see where the grudge comes from. FF warned MLT (or so he says) at the time that he was making a right **** out of himself. The bid which he associated himself with was just a bunch of shysters with no money behind them and even worse they were Portsmouth fans. So to believe in all that seriously you'd have to be a real idiot, to continue a running battle with the new chairman, who's organisation did have the money, over it you'd have to be an even bigger idiot. MLT was a tidy old player but right now he needs to shut it and assume a low profile. -

Potential chairman my ass. I'd be a potential chairman if the club could be bought with monopoly money or bottle tops. Said at the time that it was just a pipe dream and it would never ever happen. -

He did, until his Mrs told him he wasn't doing that. -

when is it not MLT's fault? He just can't keep his mouth closed, always looking to score points. If he'd have had half the obstination in his career that he he has displayed over Cortese he'd have won a whole lot more cups, medals and caps. -

probably because he's not very bright. -
I'd have to admit I have no logical reason for my dislike of Man City, just the way it is but it may have something to do with the obscene amount of money they've spent for relatively little success.
-
right so Kompany is probably just a draft dodger then. Hope our "injuries" heal up as quickly. mind you they are absolutely desperate to win, hope they play a couple of not quite fit players and it backfires on them. Don't like City very much, probably only second to Leeds in my non-favourites.
