Try looking at his dispossessed and turn over stats, pass completion means little or nothing in terms of giving the ball away. I don't know what they are for yesterday's game though.

come to think of it we don't have a Newcastle Build Up thread yet. Things must be looking up.

OK, couldn't remember exactly what was said and by whom. As it's you I'd give it more creedence than one of the heavy agenda mongers. Something's changed though, anyone can see that. Players look less confused for a start.. -
Hoilett worked himself into clear space in the middle of a triangle between Fonté,Lallana and Maya (who has Cissé behind him so can't do much although Cissé might have given him a bit of a shove) Free header unless Gazza comes out and claims it.

Are you sure that it's Cortese that was supposed to be "picking the team". Wasn't it said yesterday that(probably totally erroneously) that NC had told whoever was supposed to be interferring to knock it off. I presumed that meant Reed, now there's a bloke I wouldn't mind seeing out of the door. -

Craig David: My Team - The Saints (The Sun Newspaper)

not to mention the centre backs. It's just a team from a very brief period in the main with Keegan and Paine tacked on for good measure. Any real long time supporter would know that any 2 of Watson,Nicholl and Wright need to form the central defence. -
Isn't Kelly supposed to be in the mix as well when he's not injured ? Just right now I'd say Clyne is about 7th or 8th in the pecking order if they're all fit. Mind you you never know with Woy. Called up Lallana and then nothing despite a cascade of withdrawals for the last couple of matches.

well I think Turks means is no Guly at all,Punch not being subbed early, not much JRod, Shaw starting instead of Fox and the 2 CMs the other way round which wasn't possible with Davis cos we tried it in the first half at Arsenal and it was a catastrophy.

It should not be forgotten that before the start of the season Punch was the only player in our squad having scored in the PL . (Unless Jack Cork got a goal for Burnley but I don't think so)

ah them Tea Ladies who fancy themselves because they're good on CM2001 are a right pain.

When things are stressed in the box, drive it in ,you'll probably get lucky. Good thinking.

Probably looked at the England game and fancies his chances.

he only went to Poland and played 45 minutes

we need some new nuns, all these have lost their powers.

It's Saints, is 0-0 really an option

In the Wilde years we actually sold a lot of players for a lot of money. In fact if you look at the Wilde/Crouch period we sold for more than we spent. It was the ridiculous salaries(for woeful players) that continued for long after the failed promotion bids that caused the problems.Burley didn't help of course.

I expect us to put in an excellent performance. Whether some defensive cock up or other will negate everything we've done or not I just couldn't say. Need goals from the front men though.

Taking a new job wouldn't necessarily change the amount Spurs would have to pay him. Depends on what would be agreed. I seem to remember saints were paying Stuart Gray long after he found another job.
