  1. Delgado wins it hands down, not only did he cost a lot of money for no return whatsoever, the financial millstone that signing him created stunted our growth for in a period where our modest success should have seen us going forward.
  2. Did not Pinnacle propose to make him Chairman ? Stupid stupid thing to do, he seems to think that Cortese is now sitting in his chair and that some permanent sniping is in order. A complete idiot.
  3. F*ck all; Cork looks as if he might be back in contention though.
  4. Jos ? I'm off to the bookies to bet on a penalty or an own goal for West Ham then.
  5. Puma EvoSpeeds, that's a new thing isn't it? New boot deal for him?
  6. translating 50 shades of grey into japanese on the Muppet Show last time I heard
  7. no he isn't, Matt Le Tissier may well be.
  8. No next question if you please.
  9. My what a lot of injuries we have.
  10. Ouch !! if they were all like that most blokes would turn gay.
  11. In fact none of our regular keepers were involved with the U21s today, I thought Cropper was supposed to be their regular man but it was someone else today. The U21s lost 4-2 anyway, only Reeves from the main group involved I think, unless you count Stephens and Shaw (who went off injured apparently).
  12. Using the "wrong foot" only for long periods is a bog standard coaching technique for young players. In fact I'd doubt whether any young player would get into a pro academy without being able to use both feet adequately. It's what happens in the academies that's important, developping the mental that lets you use either foot instinctively according to the situation at hand.
  13. Perhaps we need a bit more nastiness then, wouldn't go amiss if some of the powder-puff tackles that I've seen are a fair reflexion on our play. It is absolutely ludicrous that a CM has twice as many tackles on the counter as any defender.
  14. Well the theory is that as there hasn't been a war between Europe's major powers for nigh on 70 years the EU must be doing a lot for peaceful coexistance in Europe. It's totally riduculous of course but hey we need the money anyway.
  15. But that's a team without Rodriguez and that just won't happen. JRod will be played wherever and whenever there's a place to fill, ostensible sign that we're encouraging young English talent. In my opinion Tad's days with the Saints are numbered, more's the pity. Good player.
  16. Probably the only time Africans get to see their better players "en direct" cos they're all playing in Europe or China.
  17. Havenaar was awful last night, couldn't do anything right, in fact he didn't do anything at all. French commentators decided he was a Sunday league player and Wenger didn't disagree. So as soon a Chung can get fit and get a few games he'll be back in the team. Wouldn't be surprised if he asks for a move in January if we don't play him at all.
  18. 2-0 now, I see Pompey are creeping up the table as well, haven't quite worked out what they're running on myself. Have they still got parachute payments?
  19. Bearsy researching for next week's episode
  20. Nagatomo, plays for Inter apparently.
  21. thinking on full backs, Japan's left back in the game last night was sh*t hot. Probably playing in Germany though .
  22. Plays for Standard Liege, Kawashima by name.
  23. those are quite some allegations, hope they're factual because if not you may not have heard the last of them.
