  1. The thing he has about him is Real Madrid on his C.V.
  2. So why doesn't Klopp just buy this bloke Hoedt instead then ?
  3. I think that you just have to accept that some players, good as they may be, just aren't suited to English football, which is probably the case of Paulinho. Anyway Barca are definitely on the decline just now, watched about half an hour of their SuperCup game yesterday and they really weren't at the races. Constant managerial changes are probably something to do with that though. How many is that now, 4 in 5 years ?
  4. Well of course that's his opinion, probably seen the bloke more than any of us really but Wimmer is not a very good player because he has what I would call "lacunes", gaps when he goes missing or isn't where he should be, when he should be. We don't need him either.
  5. They didn't play 3 at the back yesterday though and even if they were going to it would be Dier/Toby/Vertongen. They have so many options because the young lad Walker Peters looked decidedly handy at RB yesterday as well. Even Vic didn't make the starting line up because Dier took his place, not being required in the back row on this occasion.
  6. That would depend if he's any less dire than he has been at PSG, saw him once for them last season, he was truly atrocious. Just don't see him handling the PL at all. Needs to wander back off to Spanish strolling football.
  7. Can't really see why he was preferred to Cresswell today, unless Creswell wasn't fully fit. Bloke was just dire really. Mind you so were most of West Ham's players. They join Brighton and Palace in my relegation favourites group. South East disaster zone what..
  8. they don't just look ****, they are ****. No midfield and can't pass between themselves. Defence is a load of crap and Billic will do well not to be the first manager sacking of the season.
  9. And they're probably right, shîte manager who still trades on his reputation as a player.
  10. Number 33 looked a bit offside at the start though, what a pity, never mind. Other impression, Liverpool's number 66 looks like a sunday league player. Come on Kloppy, sell Coutinho and get some better defenders, you know you want to.
  11. Gung Ho is great...provided it survives the power play without 4 or 5 down.
  12. Excellent win yesterday evening, great knock from the stand in wicky. Really set us on our way to chasing a difficult target and allowed Vince to play himself in.
  13. So after a few months off, being paid handsomely no doubt, they're all not fit when needed. This is why anyone at all causing trouble should be sold to the highest bidder and sod them if it's not where they want to go. How much has Virgil cost us since the last time he kicked a ball in anger, 4 or 5 million £ no doubt and now he doesn't want to play. If I was the owner of Liverpool FC, Coutinho would already be at Barca and the 90 million in the club's bank account. Klopp being told to just get on with it and get better results with what he has, wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't last the season, Klopp that is.
  14. Not with the nuclear power stations we have here, no oil or coal fired generators in France, nuclear, hydroelectric, wind and solar.
  15. As I thought then, we are being gradually taken over by the Gulf States. Car manufacturers need to get those EVs out there and then we can all tell the Gulf to fark right off.
  16. And probably needs to scale back a bit. Where is all this money coming from really.
  17. So, a whole new campaign about to begin. Going for a simple 2-0 home win because, well it's only Swansea innit.
  18. Anyway, with or without Coutinho I'd expect Liverpool to come a serious cropper this season. They've not strengthened in any way at all, just added more of the same. They've signed Solanke and Salah t'is true but they need defenders and a proper firkin keeper.
  19. But he wasn't and they didn't now did they. Anyway if you say so, I don't watch him every week but obviously some of you do. For me, he's an abstract quantity who often doesn't have what it takes when it's really needed. The sum on offer (by all accounts) is ridiculous and they should snap it up.
  20. Yep, those high scoring losses after leading (Bournemouth was one I think) certainly did them no good. As I've said before Coutinho is good but not irreplaceable, don't really know why they're tarting about, refusing far more than he's worth.. They could put Firminho in his role, buy a kickass striker and a CB who's far more solid that Matip and Viking Ragnar.
  21. We could actually win the league by scoring about 25 goals, wouldn't need to concede many though.
  22. Somerset and Surrey don't look to be interested in engineering a result today so that's a bonus for us, drop wise that is. Should be pretty much OK now unless we of course lose our last 4 games, which is unlikely.
  23. He thought he wasn't getting enough game time and asked for clarification of his situation at Juve, he got his answer, sold to Saints.
