Nah he's a good player alright but he's still a bit inconsistent. On his day he's really top class, on his off days he adds little. Then again I don't think Koeman handled him very well at the start. Perhaps Barkley's spot on the side was already earmarked for a Koeman dutch binky, like Claessen perhaps. I'd think Barkley was by far the better player of the 2.
