Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Soon it will 25 million for Sholing's fourth choice. As Levy said, it's out of control. -
More provocation again this afternoon I see, missiles seem to get a bit closer to Japan each time. Crazy idiot will keep on until he actually hits them perhaps just to see what will happen...
-
It will cost us money anyway.
-
Makes more sense, Monk probably just got wound up again, happened before hasn't it ?
-
And if one of them is really Wimmer and we're set on keeping VvD you'd think that Yoshida or Stephens or both won't be seen much in the starting XI. Not even to mention new Polish bloke. Why would we need 5 centre backs or 6 if you still believe Gardos has something to offer.

Then again it would have been difficult to predict Chelsea and Liverpool having such awful seasons really, or Leicester doing so well. It was a strange season. -

KL isn't even on the club board any more is she. So the order would have to come down from the parent company to the football company in that case. -
Hope he gets commission.
-
saw him against Nice, not bad but he'd have to cut out some of the rough stuff.
-
It may not just be about the club, it may be about the owner as well. I'd think the delay in the sale of the club may have hit her hard for some reason or other, may just simply need to cash in. It's pure speculation, otherwise I don't see why we'd sell VvD to Liverpool under any circumstance unless some contractual clause says we have to eventually. Anyway until something is confirmed it's just speculation and gossip.
-
What all 4 and a half games that he played for them you mean. I'd not doubt that Dier played more games at CB for them than Wimmer did.
-
Do they still have those ladies who come and clean yer telephone? We had one at Winfrith, gorgeous dolly who's tits always nearly fell out when she bent over to pick up the telephone which had deliberately been place on a low table.
-
Perhaps, and I'm just putting this out there, we need the money, I've no idea why that would be. Perhaps the takeover has stalled definitively or something. One thing's for sure, Liverpool would be likely to pay more than anyone else.
-
Well yes, I don't believe that we've sold him yet if that's what you mean. I'll believe it when I see him in a Liverpool shirt.
-
A source that they can trust eh, probably Monk posting on this very forum.
-
Has Tom28 said anything at all on the subject of late ? Probably been gagged.

Right, Monaco's president has put it all out in front. The price required to even think about it is 180 million euros, no add ons except that the formation fee due to wherever Mbappe came from of 1.4 million is to be added on as well, net and final price 181.4 million euros. To boot the Spanish government have decided that Monaco is a tax haven and in consequence a tax of 19% (about 34 million) is to be added on to any sale price. Total price payable before any eventual agents fees is somewhere in the region of 216 million euros. So if Real want him they know what's required.. -
People always assume that there's no way that a player could get the drop on the club and force it to sell him to wherever it is he wants to go. Some agents are firkin smart cookies with enough law degrees to paper your living room, some club people aren't so smart, especially ones that get sacked or leave suddenly. We'll have to see what comes to pass but if we sell him to the Dippers you can assume he had something that made it possible.
-
Bookies don't nibble, punters nibble and bookies say thanks a lot. Don't see what it would change anyway, he was 5/2 on to go there anyway even last week when Saints were saying it's not going to happen, which probably hasn't changed anyway.
-
Isn't the maths a bit flawed in that argument ? 45+45+10 =100 Mind you I've seen an Ariane rocket not take off for a comma instead of a full stop....
-
Well they're not going to tell us the amount anyway and by the time the accounts 17/18 come out in the spring of '19 nobody will give a toss anyway. So it'll all be down to positive and negative speculation.

Ballague says Barca can't afford Coutinho anyway unless they sell Neymar, seems unlikely but you never know. -

Hah, memories of sneaking into and out of Hulse Rd Nurses Home. Handy for the Top Rank and the cricket though. -

Looked like they needed to be a lot calmer in front of goal, still it's really only pre-season for them. -

Watched on Fox and they said that that stand was closed for renovation or something and the game sold all of the available tickets, 35000 odd. Whether that's right or not I could not say.
