Think I'll just say this the once !Morgan is suspended for Saturday's game, doubt if we'll risk Fonte either because he's on 4 cards. -

Harlee Dean, a young development squad player, been here since about August, plays midfield I think. -
seems a remarkably small sum, still they're desperate for cash I guess. millwall probably given them most of it as some sort of loan fee. Still think we need an effective striker.

As few as that:lol:

Ok seen the 18 minutes of highlights, ours wasn't an obvious penalty, think Lallana fell over his own feet and the ball had already gone.Lambert should have scored with that free header, Lallana should have done better when set up by Morgan and Richardson. Ankergren is a good keeper. Thought we had far too many men in their box sometimes, all panic and nothing clinical. We need to improve in front of goal.

Fans are fickle,it's not as if Grant has done much of a job there is it.They should have kept Zola, at least he had some sort of basic idea about how the game should be played.Boards sack managers because the results aren't great, they are often no better afterwards either.

not even the same structure though is it.

The Verdict from a Variety of Brighton Fans

I thought we'd given up long ball football, what's all that about then, just sour grapes? -
I guess not, to me it's anything apart from set pieces.

Depends whether he has the ball in his hands or not, think there's a 6 second maximum for that.
-
Achilles problem, well documented on yesterday's thread, although Patred did say it was hamstring trouble on saturday.
-
he's only certainly here for another 6 weeks or so anyway.

No I don't think he's crap, I'm not sure that NA knows what he's doing with him though. Does he feel he has to give him a bit of a run out every now and again.I'd have thought that last night's stalemate at 75 minutes called for something a bit different,a real striker. Trouble with Guly is that he usually comes on to replace Barnard, an attacking midfielder for an out and out striker.Barnard doesn't last the distance at the moment so we replace him with a different kind of player, instead of a like for like with a fresh pair of legs. Now Connolly would seem to fit that description but he's errr not even on the team sheet again now. True LB said there was an issue Connolly but I guess we all presumed that had gone away with his heroics in the Cup game.
-
We could try dropping him, just to see what happens.Mind you I don't see any alternatives queueing up behind him.

Of course we can criticise Brighton all we like for their tactics, but at the end of the day they got what they wanted and we didn't. They'll go up and perhaps we'll only go with them if we win the play-offs,that is unexcusable. We need to go to Huddersfield,Carlisle and Charlton and play in exactly the same way, except that we probably won't miss a penalty if we get one.
-
No chance of a goalscoring striker I suppose. Lambert is a waste of time, unless he starts scoring we will struggle to get automatic promotion now.
-
Doubt if we'll win the league this season to be honest, not unless we can find someone to score goals against sides who defend reasonably well. Maybe second though.
-
thought he was a tennis player
-
good if we get something, suicidal if they score, hedging my bets here.
-
no longer losing though
-
take back all I said about your technique at corners Kelv
-

-

-
