when the ban came in...houses of parliament were exempt..(i think prisons) and Submarines... however, the MOD has implemented the ban anyway... to be fair..those who do smoke have taken to it pretty well as when we are at sea and no one smokes, the urge after a coupdl of days is gone..and go many weeks without wanting one.. when we do surface..the queue for a ciggy can be quite long at times...so they can smoke about 8 in one go.. before the ban..you could only smoke in the Auxhiliary machinary space....and not so many years ago...you could smoke in the bunks spaces and messes..

no..do people kick off at the cinema..on a plane, train this is laughable...i know plenty of people who have smoked for years and years..and yet...dont know one that cant hold off the urge for 2 hours.. like i said..it sees open season to have a pop at the club..
