  1. One stab at the cost to date, based on calculating the difference between the UK's GDP growth in 2016 and how much the economy would have grown had the UK voted remain: https://www.ft.com/content/e3b29230-db5f-11e7-a039-c64b1c09b482
  2. Good spot Les.
  3. Yes please. Always liked him at Chelsea, a fantastic combo of grit and flair.
  4. Ignore larry, he’s not a Saints fan.
  5. To be fair, it’s a spursy kind of chant.
  6. You know someone at the club?
  7. No s**t With a username like that, he's more likely to offer to tarmac your drive than offer up ITK tidbits.
  8. Should we survive and get to mid table, can imagine Les turning it into a positive - how there was never any kneejerk reaction, how we kept our focus when others were losing their heads and how we trusted the systems and processes in place and saw the job through. He's going to be a pig in s**t.
  9. Don't encourage him, he'll start copying and pasting random lists from Wikipedia and charts which he doesn't understand again.
  10. It's also a very different experience watching your side at home and away -regardless of performance.
  11. Watching the replay of the goal, Stephens was at sixes and sevens. It’s not even that Kane had to do much to lose Stephens. Basically Kane got a step on him by outmuscling him and Stephens gave up. Far worse attackers than Kane have had their way with Stephens in the air.
  12. Thought it was a very open game -both sides were vulnerable, just that a bit of quality was lacking. At least, we looked more threatening for a change.
  13. Spurs fans commenting there were huge holes to drive through our midfield and defense that they didn’t exploit.
  14. It’s a prediction.
  15. Morning John I thought it we deal only in FACTS, not predictions given their lousy track record. You do realise that O’Neill is making a prediction, don’t you little fella? I’ve also noticed, John, your mind seems to wander, you seem incapable of reading an article to the end and processing information consistently. It could be an endocrine problem. Do you know why O’Neill is more optimistic? Because the rest of the world, not least Europe, is motoring along. I guess you missed the bit in the article where it asks how much better the country could be doing without the uncertainty over its relationship with the EU. In other words, the UK economy could have been doing much better had it voted to remain in the EU. Ive not scuttled anywhere. Am always here for you pal.
  16. Les the Deliverer.
  17. The next Beckenbauer according to the inhouse mongboard scouts.
  18. Did he play in their recent friendly in Dubai?
  19. Fair result, good performance and a decent confidence boost. But we've been here before...
  20. Tadic having an excellent game.
  21. Is Dembele going to get booked?
  22. Ref has been shocking.
  23. Seriously? There are hardly goals in the team. People still hoping for a Gabbi that was last seen 10 months ago. When was the last time Tadic had a MoTM performance? Which leaves JWP as our main creative outlet
  24. Frankly with Long and Yoshida out, and other than deciding whether to start Davis, the team virtually picks itself.
  25. The team is a bit meh and would have liked to see Boufal and possibly Redmond. But on the big call -starting Romeu, Lemina and Hoj together- the manager has got it right.
