  1. Big lad, little lad?
  2. First press report was 2nd November 2016. No doubt it started a lot earlier.
  3. What happens when the momentum is downwards? Can a good manager immediately halt the decline?
  4. We finished 8th ya know.
  5. Great graph. You might want to put a question mark at end of the red line with Reed's name to indicate uncertainty over both his tenure and the trajectory of the curve. Can see quite you getting a few requests, asking for permission to reproduce the graph. Would make a powerful avatar.
  6. That thread is pure gold.
  7. LD's getting a bit hot under the collar. Hope you've knocked off the rust and jetlag pal and decided on a place to watch tonight's game.
  8. Watford, Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Brighton to name a few - even Stoke and Everton are massively overrated and are not much better than SMS. In fact, I would be surprised if every club mongboard doesn't have a thread bemoaning the lack of home support. Its basically much of a muchness. A word of advice pal: being a contrarian only works if you pick your battles and know what you're talking about rather than it being some kind of teenage gag reflex.
  9. Why’s that?
  10. Good one pal.
  11. Told anyone you're Maya Yoshida's neighbour yet? Have your pics at the ready.
  12. #不忘初心砥砺前行
  13. Flawless down? Mine is.
  14. The point is about Europe's role in the global economy as an engine for trade. Brexiteers like to claim that the EU market is becoming less important: so what if we're out, the real demand for exports is being generated elsewhere, in emerging markets such as China or large established markets such as the US. Over the past couple of years and possibly going forward if trends continue, that has not been the case.
  15. Some Monaco fans don't think the lad is even worth 10m euros. They suggest using the money to get a left fullback and putting a cheeky offer in for Haller.
  16. Any fool can play this game, right John. Fill your boots, little fella.
  17. Doesn't that figure also cover the entire staff -from Les Reed right down to the tea lady. Players wages are a large part of that but not all of it. The figures below are the most recent ones I could find for the first team squad (Gabbi was the highest earner as of March 2017). No doubt some would have seen their wages bumped up during the summer as new contracts and players were signed. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/599698/Southampton-weekly-wages-Manolo-Gabbiadini-Martin-Caceres-sportgalleries/amp
  18. Haven’t a lot of Austin’s goals come from headers this season, suggesting the supply is there, but we don’t have the players to exploit it.
  19. Ignore him. Since the oddball was caught sniffing bicycle seats, he's been having to get his kicks on here. Surely you can see through the ponderous, hamfisted trolling?
  20. Wouldn't be surprised if a few went to uni in Southampton.
  21. The government didn't release his funds; he obtained offshore financing in HK instead, backed by some of his existing assets outside China.
  22. Probably meant Burnley or something. I take it that aside you agree with the article?
  23. Exactly. Again soggy’s making himself look silly. In the dim recesses of his brain, he has an image of the club reacting passively to supporters whims, a strawman claim that nobody has attempted to make or pretended was the case.
  24. Thanks, very interesting.
