  1. Excellent signing.
  2. Good, another headcase.
  3. Nonsense.
  4. Of course, it's doable. Whether it's desirable is another matter, though I think Remy would be an excellent addition.
  5. Wenger whose natural arrogance has been further inflated by winning a tinpot trophy is happy to go all-Poundland again. No surprises there then.
  6. Two championship players, including Mcgoaldrought ahead of Long.
  7. And the on here thought that Suarez wasn't the main factor behind the scousers success last season
  8. Would rather have on a cheap deal than overpaying for the likes of matty phillips.
  9. Jack 's****h' Warner is the footballing authorities' own Batman.
  10. Everton is far worse than palace and qpr. Perhaps because you're also shunted on the lower tier.
  11. Rubbish survey. Disagree with most of it.
  12. Wrong. The Everton game was after the LC quarter final, not the other way around. And Wanyama and Schneiderlin weren't 100% fit for the following game at Palace. That's why both Davis and JWP started (Wanyama came on as a second half sub). HTH
  13. Very clear link with all the seedings and coefficients for last year's competition. Our coefficient is slightly lower than Hull's last year but it will be enough to be seeded through the playoffs. Should we qualify for the group stages, we'll almost certainly be in pot 3 (of 4). http://www.footballseeding.com/european-cups/europa-league-14-15/
  14. Yep, though to think that finishing 6th would have saved us four extra games.
  15. Any idea how much the tv rights are worth?
  16. Think so, yes. Second leg of the last qualifying round is August 27. Transfer deadline is the following Monday (Sept 1).
  17. Might not be a problem. He failed to get Feyenoord past the qualifying stages the two odd seasons he was there.
  18. Yep, worse than the yokels annual trip to a London game
  19. Of course, he can. The Europa League is like the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, compared to the Champions League.
  20. They switched to 3 CBs in the middle of the season but have played the last couple of months with a standard back four.
  21. Not sure which Liverpool or Clyne you've been watching. They do like their fullbacks to push on while Clyne's defensive qualities, IMO, are better than his offensive ones.
  22. The counter-argument is that he was only initially called up because of his move to Arsenal. Saying that, if he was still with us, I'm sure he would have also got international recognition, albeit later.
  23. Jrod's likes to side foot finishes with a bit of far-post curl. Hard skill, especially at a diagonal. Either way, he's much younger than Long and can't be taught.
  24. Not done Lambert much good. If for whatever reason, Clyne is warming Liverpool's bench or even in a scouse side conceding plenty of goals, he might be a token squad inclusion but he won't be England's starting right back.
  25. Don't think he would be as much of a shoe-in as you think.
